Definitely worth trying! Very good coffee and bakery for a low price! Delicious cakes and buns, please give it a try! I will come back next time if I visit Galway again. Please support this nice cafe, very friendly staff - leave a few tips for them too. Thank you!

We had a beef pie, a roasted vegetable quiche, an almond and chocolate croissant and an apricot danish. Everything was delicious. Spacious seating area at the back and open from 7am so you can grab something if you’re up early.

01/09/2026: Connor is a ray of sunshine, and Roisin is the magnifying glass and together they could burn down the city with their whimsical ways of serving while entertaining. The cafe opens early enough so nobody needs to drink cr*ppy starbucks, come to Roots!

09/09/2026: Lovely café with a beautiful interior and a really nice atmosphere. We had breakfast here and were very happy with both the food and the portions — everything was fresh, tasty and definitely not small! The café itself is beautifully decorated, with a stylish and cosy interior that makes you want to stay a little longer. A great place for a delicious and satisfying breakfast. Would definitely recommend!
