15/04/2025: Food was absolutely gorgeous and the service was great. Shoutout for the beef carpaccio and the Hannanās Delmonico, couldnāt recommend them more. The red wine prunes were a beautiful desert. They also have an incredible selection of wines. Vitor served us warmly and helpfully, explaining each dish when serving and providing great recommendations. Only weak point is that it was a bit noisy, however, this hadnāt diminished the good experience at all.

01/04/2025: Amazing š. Food ,service, couldn't ask for better! My first time there, but I'll definitely be going back next time I'm in Mayo. Five of us ate! Everyone enjoyed every morsel provided! Value for money was Excellent. Can't wait for next time!

18/04/2025: We stayed at McNean House on Wed last and all we can say is WOW! A really great experience from start to finish. Great location with plenty to see in the locality, great accommodation and, of course, a top class culinary experience for both dinner and breakfast. All carefully managed by Nevin and his excellently trained team, no detail is left to chance. Not to be missed!
12/04/2025: Just back from MacNean house. Amazing experience. The attention to detail was staggering. Although expensive if staying , it was still very reasonable and pricing for drinks, wine etc all well within expected ranges. If there is some foods you donāt like they will do their best to accommodate. We were also lucky enough to meet Nevin on the night. He talked to everyone, every table more than once and was happy to have a photo taken. Heās not there all the time , very busy schedule, so you might be lucky. We booked 14months in advance but there are last minute cancellation deals on their website. Nevin is a lovely man, and overall this was an amazing experience. Be prepared to eat a lot of very very good food.

28/02/2025: The staff were very friendly. The place was nice and warm. Unfortunately, we both ordered the cod in batter,with thick cut chips. The batter was thick and greasy, and that spoiled the flavour for both of us. The chips were nice,but overall, a disappointing experience .
