One of the best meals we’ve ever enjoyed in our decades of international travel. We entered The Greedy Goose expecting a decent local fish dinner. What we encountered was a culinary experience of true happiness and wonder at how a small family kitchen could produce such delicious and marvelous flavors across nine tapas dishes and two desserts from to finish. The comfortable dining room afforded views of the harbor and sat 30 people from young to old who were all obviously enjoying the food, cross table conversations and the happiness these gifts brings to our lives. If we could give ten stars it would still not express what a jewel this place is. Extraordinary!

My first time at the Greedy Goose Malahide, tapas style tasting dishes. So much flavour and very fresh ingrediants. The price is so good you get to try lots of different tastes. Really nice views of the Marina. The only downside is the space is small so the sound really travels. Whats really nice its not like traditional, starter main course, we had 6 taster dishes between us and it was plenty.

We ordered five different dishes from the menu, and all of which were beautifully presented. Four of them were great and full of flavour. However, the calamari had a rubbery texture and didn't taste fresh, so I wouldn't recommend it. The service was quick, friendly, and attentive throughout our meal. Unfortunately, the prices are quite high for what you receive. The portions are in line with tapas, yet they're priced like full restaurant mains. The "set menu" offers better value, but still works out to an average of €14 per dish.

Looking forward to going again and trying more items from the menu. My favourite was the surf & turf. I also really liked the patatas bravas which were crispier and nicer than the ones I've tried before. Everything was very flavourful and well balanced. My one skip would be the calamari as they were a bit chewy but there are many fish dishes on the menu I would love to try. The atmosphere was lovely with a view of the marina and the restaurant was very clean. I love the theme of the goose as well! Will definitely be back 😊
