17/03/2026: From the time we entered the restaurant we were greeted by very friendly and obliging staff. Service was excellent nothing was to much trouble. Food was of Michelin quality with portions of great quantity. Would definitely recommend this restaurant but be sure to book as it never emptied while we were there. Will definitely book again. Our visit was for Mothers Day March / 26

14/02/2026: The food was incredible. Had the Prawns and a steak sandwich, both of which exceeded our expectation. The staff is just the right amount of attentive and are extremely friendly. Only note I would have is the music was a tiny bit loud, making it hard to hear each other

17/03/2026: Just home from Thats Amore on St Patricks day 2026, not first time we have been there always happy with the food although today left sour taste in my mouth with 20 minutes of a 2 hr time slot left we asked for 4 glasses of wine and we were told we had 10 minutes left,with paying high bill with a party of 8 we were very disappointed in this,felt totally rushed and unfortunately won't be returning again.

11/11/2025: Great establishment, variety of breakfast/brunch options, and everything is well-made. Customer service is always excellent. Used to go more often with the previous menu that you could make your own breakfast, but still is a great brunch spot.

20/12/2025: The food was nice but nothing particularly special. However the staff were really friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. I had a lovely relaxed brunch with a nice view. I would eat here again.

21/03/2026: First time trying this cafe, as every time I have passed before could not gain entry due to how popular it is 😊 Went on a quieter weekday lunch time and had ham & cheese toastie with a white coffee. My friend had veggie burrito and an iced matcha latte. Food is hearty and coffee is good . Staff friendly indoor and some outdoor seating available also. Good veggie and vegan options.

11/03/2026: Yesterday we went for dinner at Old Street in Malahide and had a truly wonderful experience. The restaurant itself is beautiful, but what made the evening especially memorable was the outstanding service from our waiter, Dawid. He was attentive, friendly and made us feel very welcome throughout the entire meal. The starters were excellent, the tomahawk steak for the main course was incredibly flavourful, and the dessert was also delicious. Everything was perfectly prepared and the service made the evening even more enjoyable. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you for such a fantastic dinner and for the exceptional service.

08/03/2026: Me and my friends (group of 10) had a table booked for 2 hour slot. We waited for main course long and then were rushed with dessert. We were asked to leave exctly after 120 minutes despite the restaurant having plenty of free tables. I ended up eating my dessert standing while friends were puting on jackets in rush. We were not given chance to finish wine, so we had to leave full glasses on the table. Very unpleasant experience. I definitely don't recommend this place!

24/03/2026: Honestly, I might’ve walked in with a high expectation on the food. I’ve had the chicken Milanese which was alight, the breading was a bit soggy, didn’t have any taste of lemon which in my opinion is essential in that dish and i don’t why they added some sweet yellow paste in there, which in my opinion just ruins the point of the chicken Milanese because frankly why would a salty and lemon ish dish would have something so sweet in it?.my gf had some sea food pasta she really enjoyed it. But apart from that Milanese great place. Love the aesthetic of the building👍

15/03/2026: Bald man with the beard at the bar was extremely rude to us but all the reviews seem to say that about him we are weekly customers in fowlers. Food is good and all other members of staff are nice. TVs are also absolutely abysmal looks like the football is being played in the 1980s

26/03/2026: I have an accredited assistance dog. I walked in, sat down. A waiter told me no dogs allowed. I explained she is my assistance dog and showed him her id. He said no problem. Until the manager/owner told me he doesn’t care if my dog came from Tim buck 2, no dogs allowed. I explained that my dog is considered medical equipment and that she has her id, she is legally allowed to enter public places like any guide dog. He said this time is ok (because I was in the middle of eating) but next time no. So for me this is zero stars. It’s hard enough getting around safely without being hassled for a tasked trained assistance dog that saves your life on a daily basis. If you’ve got a guide dog or assistance dog I suggest you come here and educate the manager/owner.
