Provence in Malahide

I’ve been to this restaurant several times and every experience has been amazing. The food is always delicious, the atmosphere is great, and the service truly stands out. I especially want to mention Dayane, who has consistently provided exceptional customer service every time we visited. Even on occasions when she wasn’t directly serving our table, she still came by to check if everything was okay and if we needed anything. She is always friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring, which makes a huge difference in the overall experience. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated and welcoming. Thank you, Dayane, for always making us feel so well taken care of. We’ll definitely keep coming back!

Café Provence is a must-stop for me and my family. Whenever we visit Malahide, we make sure to take a moment to enjoy this very special place. The atmosphere is welcoming, familiar, and conveys a feeling of comfort that makes us feel at home. The staff is always very polite, attentive, and welcomes customers with friendliness and professionalism. But the real highlight, without a doubt, is the food. Each dish is prepared with great care and flavor, making the experience even more memorable. The quality of the food and the delicious menu are the main reasons we always come back. I wholeheartedly recommend Café Provence to anyone looking for a pleasant atmosphere, exceptional service, and cuisine that wins over the whole family. We came here for my birthday after admiring Malahide Castle and the beach. I couldn't have wished for a more delicious birthday cake. Highly recommended.

Nice omelette. Service a little slow, but it is a busy spot. If you are on your own you might be left standing while the staff think of somewhere to seat you which does not take up an attractive spot for groups of two or more.

The food was very tasty. I really liked the coffee, probably one of the best in Dublin.

The staff and owner were incredibly warm and welcoming. We’re visiting from New York and stopped in for breakfast, and had such a great experience. At one point, my 6-year-old son accidentally spilled his entire hot chocolate all over himself, the table, and the floor. The owner immediately came over, handled it with such kindness and calm, and even brought him a fresh one without hesitation. That small gesture meant a lot and really stood out. The food was absolutely delicious—from the pancakes to the poached eggs with avocado, and the ciabatta breakfast. The coffee and hot chocolate were excellent as well. We would highly recommend this place to anyone!

We’ve been going here regularly for many years now. Good coffee, good food, great cakes! The staff are very friendly and attentive and even during busy periods will let you know what the wait may be. Would recommend for lunch or coffee if in Malahide
