Seabank Bistro in Malahide

A very welcoming restaurant with a lovely terrace and a perfect atmosphere for relaxing. We especially enjoyed the main courses. The starters, however, seemed a bit underwhelming due to their preparation, although ultimately it's a matter of personal taste. Even so, a pleasant and charming place.

This is our favourite restaurant! The food is always amazing, the service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is just perfect. Every time we visit, we somehow think it can’t get any better, but last night’s meal was honestly something else! The food was absolutely to die for, and I would highly recommend the seafood platter. We don’t eat oysters, but they were happily swapped for extra portions of prawns, which was perfect for us. We also really enjoyed the drinks — I had Porn Star Martinis, while he enjoyed wine and beer. And of course, dessert was the perfect finishing touch to an already wonderful meal. Thank you for another lovely evening. We absolutely love this place and can’t wait to come back! ❤️

Some really exceptional seafood, some of the very best I've ever had. Service was impeccable. Very well worth a visit.

Sea food/ crab claws - amazing! But the steak in surf and turf was not as ordered medium-rare but rather medium-done..and tasted burned - had to cut off the "crust". No proper reaction to my soft criticism... a bit disappointing regarding service and attention as a single traveller (in my hiking gear straight from the beach hike).

Amazing dining experience. The monk fish curry was delicious, halibut special was amazing, nice fresh oysters. Don't pass this place when in malahide.

I went to the bistrò with my family. We have been served by different lovely waitresses and one waiter too that took our order. I ordered the lobster and asked for more information, he explained to me that he would show me the lobster before cooking it, so i said i didn’t want to see it. So he laughed and explained to me all the steps on how they would cook the lobster even if i didn’t ask and clearly wasn’t enjoying it. Then he proceeded to show me the lobster even if I asked not to, it sounded like he was mocking me because I didn’t want to know. Overall the food was nice but really pricey, generous portions in general. The lobster was okay, the linguine weren’t good at all. I wouldn’t come back for the experience though.
