The best restaurants in Malahide

10/11/2025: I felt really uncomfortable with the service today. When other tables were served, the staff brought the dishes directly. But when our Tom Yum soup was ready, a woman with straight bangs from the kitchen pointed at our table and told another waitress to serve it, while looking straight toward us. When I looked up, she was still pointing — it felt disrespectful and impolite, and made me very uneasy. This review is just to share my experience. No need to reply. I don’t want any explanation or follow-up — just feedback for improvement. ———————— I’ve seen the restaurant’s reply. This platform doesn’t allow me to reply directly to the restaurant’s response, so I’m leaving a short follow-up here. I understand that you were guiding a new staff member and making sure the dishes went to the right table. However, what made me uncomfortable was that even after our eyes met, she continued to point directly at our (face) — that felt impolite and unnecessary. What bothered me more was that I looked around and noticed that no other guests were being pointed at like that. It only happened to us, and I just felt quite unlucky and awkward in that moment. If you put yourself in a guest’s position, you would probably feel uncomfortable too. That’s all I wanted to clarify. Please don’t reply further — I appreciate your understanding, and there’s no need for more messages.

16/09/2025: Best curry in Malahide, no doubt on that! Friendly staff that will make you feel confortable. We have the feeling that the portions are bigger in size when for take away, might be just our thought. As foreigners it felt a bit on the expensive side.

08/11/2025: I attended a wedding recently at the Greenery in Malahide, my brother hired out the whole restaurant. I would highly recommend doing this. The food was amazing, I went for the vegan option, but they cater for everyone. The staff were the best, so very friendly and accommodating. They never felt like they were under pressure considering it was a full house! Go check it out if you’re in the area, even just for lunch or dinner.

09/11/2025: Overall a lovely restaurant with amazing staff and tasty food. We were looked after so well by everyone and thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Only comment is that the shared platter was overcooked. We cannot wait to come back

13/08/2025: I order for collection after reading some top review but got so much disappointed and I face rude behaviour by the staff. Even I think manager was near till and he was very aggressive. And food is below the quality. I will not recommend at all. Just waisted €55 for couple of things with that money, really expensive too. I couldn’t give one start even if I was able to comment here without star. Hi manager your food is here come and collect I am not eating at all. It spoiled my mood and this evening too.

24/09/2025: Highly recommend visiting this restaurant if your looking for a good place to visit in Malahide. My family has been going here for years, it’s never disappointed. Great food and super friendly staff. I would recommend the Veggie Thai Green Curry. It’s delicious. Go check it out!

27/10/2025: Lovely little spot for a cozy drink and excellent food. Pizza was exceptional and the wife raved about her seafood dish. Just two Yanks wandering the town got lucky when we walked in Malahide Social. Give it a try if you're in the area.

22/10/2025: I went to Malahide Social for dinner last Saturday evening. It was the first time I’d been there since they changed from Mario’s so wasn’t sure what to expect. From the moment I stepped inside to the time I left I had such a lovely experience. Food - delicious and beautifully presented. Cocktails - looked as great as they tasted - shout out to Abbie 🍸 Menu - great selection of food - pasta, pizza, burgers,etc. And very good value. Service/ Team - the team were so professional and very friendly and accommodating to any requests for changes in some of the dishes. Caoimhe and Aileen looked after us and couldn’t have been more pleasant. We met the owner and he was a gentleman. (Sorry I can’t remember his name). It was easy to see why the atmosphere was so good - he chose a great team who worked extremely well together. I made a return booking before I left so I think that says it all. If you’ve not been - make a booking, you won’t be disappointed. If you have been you know what I’m talking about.
