Sette Pizzeria & Trattoria in Malahide

The best Italian in Malahide (and all of Ireland if you ask me)! The food is made with heart and their people care about giving you a great experience. I will definitely return 🍝🍕

Sette is my go to restaurant every time I visit Ireland. It is worth the trip from Dublin City Centre. The food is outstanding, lovely staff and a very welcoming atmosphere. Best Italian food I've had and I already can't wait for my next trip! (Get the carbonara - you won't regret it!!!)

Pizza was a bit burned, but good, pasta was good, but the superfood salad came missing some of the ingredients, like goat cheese, pees, nuts, etc. It was basically just spinach leaves with vinegar and a few pecorinos, like you see on the photo. When I asked about, the waiter said it was all right and that all other ingredients were in the dressing 🫪🧐. The second time I ask they took my plate and brought it back with the missing ingredients. I still don’t know what my salad should’ve been like, and it’s very strange to be asking for the ingredients that should be with your order multiple times.

I had booked a table for two on a sunny summer Saturday night, the restaurant was very busy inside and out on the patio. The waitress greeted us at the door and showed us to our table. For starters we had mussels in wine, It was a bit disappointing as the mussels were small and required a bit of work the wine sauce was lovely although more bread was required to soak up the taste, my partner had bruschetta which was lovely. For mains I had a medium cooked fillet steak which was cooked to perfection and a delicious glass of malbec, my partner went for the seafood pasta which she loved and had a glass of pinot grigio. It was too warm inside to stay for desserts but hopefully we will be back to try the pizzas.

Gorgeous seafood, very nice pizza, efficient staff, pleasant atmosphere, will call again soon.

Great spot for some delicious Italian food right in the heart of Malahide. The owner is a sound guy and the staff are very attentive. Authentic atmosphere and some nice relaxing decor also.
