I would say the staff make this place (and they do) but that would undersell the amazing food and atmosphere. It's a real gem.

My favourite Chinese by a mile. The beef in the black bean sauce is so tender it melts in your mouth, the soup is incredible, and the curry is absolutely unreal. It's not the cheapest, but the quality is on another level and worth every cent. Consistently delicious and always my go-to when I want a really good Chinese. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

01/09/2026: Lovely food and excellent service. Many thanks. It's really popular so lots of people book. Lady in front door was very helpful and got us a table in ten minutes for an hours duration which was fine for lunch. One of our local friends recommended that they did the best sandwich in town which was correct. My partner had seafood pasta which was also perfect. The cakes looked lovely too. Take away service also available and outdoor seating too.

15/03/2026: Nice for relaxed morning breakfast with nice green windows view. Hot chocolate is too sweet but OK. Good service, quiet place.
