Great spot for a gorgeous brunch. Where it was possible to have a conversation. Staff lovely too.

Visited Bon Appetit in September with my mother who is gluten intolerant. I cannot fault our experience, wonderful food and service. The server was very attentive to my mother and her dietary requirements.

Fantastic meal. Read a piece in the Indo about Oliver Dunnes Restaurants had to go. Deffo going back. Meal was incredible. Even got the Onion broth recipe from the Chef. 10 🌟 if I could. 1st Class

Each dish on the menu was well presented with wonderful unique flavour. The staff are attentive and pleasant, ensuring you can focus and get full enjoyment from the occasion. Our whole family enjoyed it.

We had the early bird set menu ! It didn't disappoint.. 3 Courses for €26ea I have eaten here before Christmas last and can't fault it. There was a great buzz about the place and the service was equally great. The restaurant is situated in the basement, The decor is sharp with comfy seating and nice table settings. My only quibble was that we were seated next to the front exterior wall and there was a cold draught running down behind me. I know that the weather was near freezing outside but it was uncomfortable for me ! Otherwise it was fantastic as always .. 4th time to eat there...

Absolutely wonderful experience, Great staff, food was beautiful and even the cocktails were to die for. They even did a surprise happy birthday for my wife. Now in my top 3 places to eat.

Bon Appetit is a must-visit! The staff's friendly service and thoughtful touches, like the 'Happy Anniversary' dessert plate, made our special evening even more memorable. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the sea bass was incredibly flavorful.

Stumbled across this restaurant almost by accident as it's away from the other restaurants in Malahide. Great to see different options on the menu. Excellent food and great service. 40% off starters and main courses on a Monday!

10/05/2026: I went to the bistrò with my family. We have been served by different lovely waitresses and one waiter too that took our order. I ordered the lobster and asked for more information, he explained to me that he would show me the lobster before cooking it, so i said i didn’t want to see it. So he laughed and explained to me all the steps on how they would cook the lobster even if i didn’t ask and clearly wasn’t enjoying it. Then he proceeded to show me the lobster even if I asked not to, it sounded like he was mocking me because I didn’t want to know. Overall the food was nice but really pricey, generous portions in general. The lobster was okay, the linguine weren’t good at all. I wouldn’t come back for the experience though.
26/04/2026: Absolutely amazing food, I had a halibut dish it was out of this world. The lobster was exquisite 👌🏽

14/05/2026: We came here for my birthday after admiring Malahide Castle and the beach. I couldn't have wished for a more delicious birthday cake. Highly recommended.
29/04/2026: Nice omelette. Service a little slow, but it is a busy spot. If you are on your own you might be left standing while the staff think of somewhere to seat you which does not take up an attractive spot for groups of two or more.
