Gibneys in Malahide

2026 and we have come back again. Still, as ever, Gibney's doesn't disappoint. The food was very tasty and value for money. The staff are excellent, warm and friendly (everything you expect from the Irish people). It is a place we are always looking forward to visiting on our trips to Ireland. This time it was in an evening and quite busy, a little claustrophobic and noisy but what do you expect from a popular drinking establishment! Still worth it

Nice cafe, good assortment of food choices and lovely staff. Overlooking the garden is very peaceful.

I ordered the beef fries. They were good. The price was reasonable. I recommend them.

Love going to Gibneys. Always nice to have a walk around Malahide, knowing you'll end up here. Guinness is good, plenty of room in the place and the food does the job.

I always call here for a quick pint when I'm in Malahide. Guinness Zero on draft, which was decent and Sky Sports on the TV. Always a friendly welcoming and food looks good 👍

It was hard to find, but it was worth it. Authentic place, good service, very friendly staff, and delicious food in generous portions. Highly recommended. It's a very comfortable place. We recommend Smithwick's beer.

Bars are about the craic and this had plenty the night we were there. Toilets took me back to ancient history too!
