Gilbert & Wright in Malahide

Had the spicy wings and a toastie a few weeks ago while soaking up the atmosphere during the Malahide Castle concerts, in the pleasant outdoor seating area. Very fresh and tasty plates. Have returned twice for a swift pint of Guinness and it's been consistently good and creamy each time. Recent renovations have upgraded the experience and it's now a much more comfortable and relaxed atmosphere to enjoy small bites, excellent pints and nice wines and cocktails. Adrian the manager is hands-on and knows his customers. 5 stars every time.

Sat at the bar and chatted with Alex and Winnie, they gave us some good tips for our trip, and made an excellent espresso martini. The Guinness was good also.

This place was popping!!! People from 18-80 getting down. It was a vibe you must see to believe.

Ordered the honey boneless wings and the loaded street fries. The chicken wasn’t great. It was tough, not enjoyable. The fries were okay, I wasn’t expecting a burger to be chopped up and put on top. Not worth the price! Stared the atmosphere 3 as we were the only people here for the duration of our meal. Place is clean and music playing was good. Service was great.

The food was very tasty and transported us straight to Italy. The house wine, both red and white, was very enjoyable. Highly recommend the risotto!

Amazing The place was really cozy. And Winnie was a wonderful host. The drinks were spectacular and the food was incredible. We'll be coming back.

Only just opened so pretty quiet but 10/10 Aperol spritzs!!

Excellent service, food was excellent, and Paulina was a pleasure to deal with through out the evening. Highly recommend 👍👍
