14/07/2025: Checked many local restaurants but settled on this one and so glad we did. My husband is a chef and can be hard to please. We both loved everything we tried. Adrian, our server was fantastic - made great recommendations and was so personable- definitely made the evening great!!

20/07/2025: Service was good. Food was 3/5. Very disappointed that the only Alcohol Free White Wine on the menu was out of stock.

07/07/2025: I really like Taste of the Med. The menu is expansive, with a specialist menu for health. Every food allergy can be catered for. Coffee is good here. The staff are consistently excellent. Unfortunately, it’s not possible to leave an electronic tip. Only cash, if you happen to have some on you. I hope the management rectify this issue as quickly as possible, it’s completely unfair to the ground staff. Sara was running around making sure everyone was attended to. During a particularly busy day, a concert in the castle day, she was excellent. I could see the frustration of customers when they couldn’t add a tip to their card payment. Those passing through won’t come back with cash to tip a young person. At least I could. I have older kids so this issue really bugs me as they need the money for college life. I missed seeing Kirsten there, she’s another wonderful member of staff from my previous visits!

25/06/2025: Over charged for our food. Pointed out she was charging for a cappuccino we didn’t have and just proceeded anyway Not as nice as it used to be. Extremely disappointed

11/03/2025: The renovation last year was great, and the atmosphere is really nice while watching my kid play tennis. However, I was disappointed to see that the toastie with cheese, which I used to get for my son before practice, was no longer available—only meat options were offered. Also, tables were left dirty for a long time. I hope this place doesn’t deteriorate because it has a lot of potential. Good WiFi, nice place to sit with a laptop.

27/07/2025: Had it from their truck at our park fair.. so tasty! The dough was light and the tomato 🍅 sauce was one of the nicest Iv had 👌

02/03/2025: 5 Stars across the board. Tried Paddy's Pizza Pies for the first time in Malahide and I wish I could give them a higher rating than the maximum of 5. The service was outstanding, really welcoming and friendly. My son had a blast and even got a sticker (he loves it so much, he is still wearing it today). Then we get to the Pizzas, these are to die for. The highest quality and at a reasonable price, brought me straight back to Napoli, dare I say, they were even better! Paddy, your goats cheese pizza is a masterpiece. Keep up the outstanding service, will be back to you soon.

30/06/2025: Food is lovely. Disappointed though that menu described online as takeaway was not available. But v disappointed that I was charged 1€ for a sachet of tomato sauce.

01/07/2025: Staff are lovely here. The food was ok. The burrata and croquettes were very tasty. For the mains we had the sea bass tempura which is fish and chips with mushy peas which was fine. The batter wasn’t very light and the peas were dry. The chips were delicious although the last third were too salty to eat. My friend had the vegetarian tart. The pastry was too hard to cut and the filling was too salty for her. She has high blood pressure and would have liked a choice about the amount of salt on her food. In this day and age I think that’s expected. We have our feedback which was taken very graciously. We also noticed that the dado rail and lamp next to us were thick in dust. We wouldn’t go back even though the staff are great.

15/07/2025: We ended up stopping here for dinner by chance and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. The menu is impressively varied, offering something for every taste, and the atmosphere is warm, cozy, and intimate, perfect for a relaxed evening. Everything was exceptional, from the attentive, friendly service to the delicious, beautifully presented food. It’s easily one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Dublin. Highly recommend.

20/05/2025: First time we visited the service was amazing. We visited recently and unfortunately the service was not up to standard. We were also charged 6€ for a bottle of water. Very expensive. 24€ for aain dish excluding a side. We will be looking for another place . Sad because the food is lovely

14/07/2025: Excellent restaurant in the heart of Malahide. Very welcoming owners, and truly authentic Asian food! Lovely relaxing atmosphere inside the restaurant, and great option for takeaway too. I always come back here when in Malahide.

30/06/2025: This place has the most rude person I’ve ever encountered in Ireland. Yes, most people here are great at services. It happened when I ordered online and had to ring to correct my delivery address. It’s a simple request but what I got was pure arrogance from this guy. Imagine someone arguing on what your correct eircode is, because apparently, he has “years of experience in Malahide and been doing his restaurant job for a long time”. Unbelievable. I always don’t care about little things and someone’s behaviour except if I think it has to pointed out. My first and last order from KOA. Cheers. 🍻

17/02/2025: I loved it there, atmosphere was great and had really good music playing (love the music taste of the workers) i really liked the latte and brownie, definitely will be coming back :)

21/06/2025: The blonde woman behind the bar wasn’t very nice asked could I use the toilet. She said no I said can I buy some water then, I was told “we don’t sell water”. Bear in mind there two people in the place. Guy next door was lovely and let me in.

16/06/2025: Such a cosy little place! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and you can really taste the care that goes into the food. Everything is made with fresh, local ingredients and the staff are super friendly and clearly passionate about what they do. A great find if you’re after something relaxed, local, and full of flavour.
