The best restaurants in Malahide

02/03/2025: 5 Stars across the board. Tried Paddy's Pizza Pies for the first time in Malahide and I wish I could give them a higher rating than the maximum of 5. The service was outstanding, really welcoming and friendly. My son had a blast and even got a sticker (he loves it so much, he is still wearing it today). Then we get to the Pizzas, these are to die for. The highest quality and at a reasonable price, brought me straight back to Napoli, dare I say, they were even better! Paddy, your goats cheese pizza is a masterpiece. Keep up the outstanding service, will be back to you soon.

17/02/2025: I loved it there, atmosphere was great and had really good music playing (love the music taste of the workers) i really liked the latte and brownie, definitely will be coming back :)

16/03/2025: They are very unpleasant restaurant and it only admit based on your colour. When we arrived, they looked at their iPads and told us they were fully booked for the day. Also, I can see now that they are still taking bookings and people are still walking in. So i guess it was not really “ fully booked”.

15/06/2024: It is such a break from the standard Malahide offering ... delicious and authentic fare served by lovely friendly staff We e have coming here since it opened ep years ago and are worried by rumours it has closed up shop..please not, malahide definitely needs you

18/07/2024: I think you could consider this place a hidden Jen of sorts. I've been to malahide castle dozens of times and never knew this was here. It's lovely spot for a coffee and a sambo. The pitch and put course provides a scenic outdoor view and the indoor seating area is charming and comfortable.

29/03/2025: We ordered pancakes and waited for 50 minutes for our food. The scones tasted salty. And a waitress was cooking her own lunch in the kitchen. There was only one chef, and there was only a limited menu of three items. Two girls that came before us also waited for a really long time. The service was also really bad. Never coming back here again.

18/03/2025: Went here for dinner with my wife over the weekend. Steaks were very disappointing for the prices they are charging, only highlight was the duck wings which were nice but would not be pushed to return here.

16/03/2025: As a family we just had dinner ,waited for 1 hour for starters. Excuse was the chef misplaced the order. Waitress was lovely and apologied.. starters where okay. Main course horrble Arrived home and my husband and daughter vomited. Frozen Prawns served. Steaks over cooked. When we highted that the food was poor the managers reply was no one else complained. He proceeded to deduct items from the bill. We left full amount. Unfortunately he wasn't up to constructive feedback. Food was vial. I don't understand how restaurants on the coast that have amazing produce at their disposal use frozen cheap bought in product's and charge 50€ for a steak we need to expose more restaurants. Extremely disappointed. Went there before taking a group of 20 for my daughter confirmation. Beyond disappointed!!!

13/09/2024: Would give zero stars if I could. Bought coffee today and we were seated outside for 5 mins when told we had to move on by very rude male who said he had to clear away tables and chairs. When I asked why he said he was closing at 4pm. We and other customers objected strenuously but he was adamant. Not an experience I would ever repeat. Shocking attitude.

10/02/2025: The food was overall good. We liked the duck dumplings, Beef in Cantonese Sauce was succulent and deliciously fried, and the sweet sour chicken was average. I wish the kids menu had more and healthier choices. They serve ice cream in the kids menu in lovely toys which was super fun for our kids. They usually only accept booking but they were kind enough to accept us walking-in, with the condition of leaving in 90 min. We appreciate their flexibility. Oh and they also have heated automated toilet seats and bidet with warm water if you are looking for some water exclusive toilet experience :)

11/02/2025: We had a wonderful evening at Harry's from start to finish! We were warmly welcomed, coats taken and given plenty of time to look at the menu. The specials were explained very clearly. The menu is varied and it's apparent that the produce is of a very high quality. The focaccia bread was particularly good in the dipping oil/ vinegar and the recommended wine pairing was excellent! The glass of red with the cheeseboard was also really good! The dinner in its entirety was delicious! The service was first class, the ambience buzzy and overall, we had a truly memorable, fun night. Already looking forward to the next visit and so delighted that Harry's is local!

Owners Grace and Andrew offer a local , intimate yet exciting menu and sophisticated wine list ; fabulous options by bottle or by the glass . Small groups or large .. Highly recommend

14/02/2025: This premises has no low seating for those with mobility issues. The photos on the website are incorrect. I had to change venue at the last minute for a small get together with friends. I was absolutely mortified. Disgraceful in this day and time
