Fowlers in Malahide

The food was very good, the children's menu had generous portions. The TV volume was a little loud, but otherwise everything was perfect.

Staff were polite but we Waited a long time for our food. Fish and chips €20. Chips not great, 2 out of 3 fish were chewy. Sweet potato fries burnt. NO flavour off the blue cheese dip. Chicken wings drowning in BBQ sauce. It is a very noisy atmosphere.

The best fish and chips I've ever had, highly recommended.

Always love to visit Fowlers on our trips to Malahide. Great out door buzz and food is good .

Nice to sit out and enjoy the sun but at nearly €9 a pint I won't be rushing back. The barman that served was really poor. Slopped a pint of Guinness down on the counter spilling half the head and didn't seem to think it was an issue. Even the person beside me commented on it too. The floor staff were great in fairness to them. Edit: I didn't say the Guinness was €9 I said a pint was nearly €9. What i did say was the Guinness was slopped down. I ordered a Moretti and Guinness, paid with a €20 and got €2.70 back I think so was nearly €9 a pint. The barman was made aware how he slopped the pint down and didn't make any effort to go to replace it.

A lovely pub. They have live music every Monday evening. I always enjoy going there.

Beautiful bar with a lovely interior and exterior, and the Guinness was superb. The only downside was that it seemed the bar staff served a few people who arrived after us before taking our order. Later in the evening, it was also disappointing that cocktails were no longer being served because the bar was too busy. It was a little frustrating, but overall it’s still a really lovely place.
