Il Sorriso in Malahide

26/07/2026: If you are lucky enough like we were to get a window seat on a beautiful sunny day, then, it's a lovely vista overlooking the sea and marina. The staff who served us we both polite and patient as we pondered the menu choices. We chose from the set and al a carte menu and although the portions were quite small, they were adequate when we added some sides. The dishes were fresh and well flavoured and helped along by a nice bottle of wine and based on four sharing the guide price would be between fifty to sixty euro per person. The atmosphere was nice and friendly and it's a popular choice so it was quite busy but we didn’t feel rushed. Yes, it will be on our list when we next visit this beautiful area. Malahide is a wonderful place to visit and has good travel connections to Dublin City using the DART Train Service. The town has a pedestrianised main street with a wide selection of bars etc. Definitely a great place to visit whether you arrive by yacht to its marina or by road or rail. 17/07/2026: Great that this Malahide restaurant is under new management and has made a positive impact on the choice of quality offerings to dine at in Malahide. Love the menu, and on our last visit, I was very pleased with the food, the service, and the general buzz about the place! We will be back soon...
