When we visit a popular or touristy street, we normally don’t have very high expectations, as you often end up paying a premium for the location, while the quality of the food and service isn’t always at the same level. However, we came here with our family and our newborn daughter and we had a great experience. The seafood was delicious and Alki and the rest of the staff were very friendly, attentive and welcoming. It was refreshing to find a place in a popular location where both the food and the service were high quality. Thank you for making our experience so enjoyable!

We ( 3 people ) went for lunch today while waiting to collect a new car in the area of Malahide. We had lunch in " Al Fresco " and it was really fabulous. Excellent welcoming by the girls working and the food was delicious. They even helped us afterwwith lical directiosn. Excellent coffee and the deserts too... Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a great lunch and catch up with friends. Definitely will be back.

Bruschetta was pretty good. Pollo Al fresco was okay, chicken a little tough and sauce a little lackluster. Sauteéd potatoes were class. Staff were very friendly and attentive

Absolutely love Alfresco in Malahide! ❤️ Such a great restaurant with an amazing atmosphere and always the best vibes. The staff are fantastic — so friendly, welcoming and attentive. A special mention to Mirko — honestly, the best waiter ever! 😂 He always keeps us entertained, makes us laugh and goes above and beyond to make sure we have the best time. Nothing is ever too much trouble for him! We always leave happy and looking forward to coming back. Amazing food, amazing people, amazing atmosphere. 10/10 every single time! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Was in Ireland for 7 days. Visited many places from Galway to Wicklow to Killarney. This was the best food we had! Wife had Lamb Chops and they were cooked perfectly. Not only were they great, but the portions were perfect. I had the seafood risotto and it was seasoned perfectly with a huge amount of seafood. Bruschetta was great and the beers were cold!

26/07/2026: If you are lucky enough like we were to get a window seat on a beautiful sunny day, then, it's a lovely vista overlooking the sea and marina. The staff who served us we both polite and patient as we pondered the menu choices. We chose from the set and al a carte menu and although the portions were quite small, they were adequate when we added some sides. The dishes were fresh and well flavoured and helped along by a nice bottle of wine and based on four sharing the guide price would be between fifty to sixty euro per person. The atmosphere was nice and friendly and it's a popular choice so it was quite busy but we didn’t feel rushed. Yes, it will be on our list when we next visit this beautiful area. Malahide is a wonderful place to visit and has good travel connections to Dublin City using the DART Train Service. The town has a pedestrianised main street with a wide selection of bars etc. Definitely a great place to visit whether you arrive by yacht to its marina or by road or rail. Love the menu, and on our last visit, I was very pleased with the food, the service, and the general buzz about the place! We will be back soon...

13/09/2026: First time there will be definitely returning -food was absolutely beautiful service was great but the value for money needs to be called out €50 a head covered 3 courses each and soft drinks that’s excellent value in today’s Dublin for the quality of food and service delivered
12/09/2026: A really nice place to eat. The food is good, and very fresh. The staff are good fun and very attentive to our needs. The place is also small, which brings a nice cozy feel to it.
