Had some great food here recently, on a Friday afternoon. Service was friendly and quick. Food was excellent: Pork Belly was exceptional and generous, tender and tasty with excellent crackling on top. Ribs were superb, the sauce was the right level of sweet with just a enough spice to give it some kick. I thought the meat could have been a little more tender, it was a little dry, but that didn't take away from what were top notch ribs. Duck Bao Buns were also had, which were very delicious and packed with freshness and flavor. Atmosphere is nice inside, casual but cost and in a great part of Malahide. Just a short walk to the sea air once you've eaten yourself senseless.

myself and my husband visited Scotch bonnet on saturday 8th august for a meal as part of my husbands birthday. from the moment we walked into the restaurant.. it was perfect, staff are amazing, so professional and so friendly... such a personal touch on how they treat their customers.. the food was amazing , drinks and atmosphere... we will definitely be going back and we recommend this restaurant to everyone. karen barry

Great find,, lovely menu, cocktail tree and some other quirky stuff added to make a lovely Ambience. Kevin and the staff make you feel right at home.

Beautiful dinner! Crispy pork belly starter is gorgeous! Definitely must try. The calamari was a disappointment as they are not crispy and tasteless but the rest of the meal were perfect. We had the beef burger and the baby back rack which was a massive portion, for the petite people maybe a share portion. A young atmosphere and a little loud for a cozy dinner with chats but defo tasty food apart from the calamari.

We ate at the Scotch Bonnet on July 10th for my son's birthday. We both had the BBQ ribs and they were some of the best ribs that I've ever had anywhere in the world. The sauce was excellent and the ribs were so tender and delicious. We were able to pull the bone out of the meat with just our fingers. The staff also sang Happy Birthday to my son. It was a great meal and fantastic way to end my son's birthday. I guarantee you won't be disappointed if you decide to eat at the Scotch Bonnet. It won't our last time eating there.

Fantastic welcoming staff and atmosphere. Great decor and styling! The food was absolutely delicious - we had various burgers including a gluten free burger which was amazing. My daughter wanted to mention that the lemonade was one of the best she's had! Nothing was too much for our waitress she was so attentive and gave us great advice in what to choose. We will absolutely be back if we ever return to Malahide!
