21/01/2025: Tuvimos un grupo de 16 en una despedida de soltera el fin de semana pasado y visitamos Botown para algo de comida y bebidas para empezar el día. David no podría haber sido más útil desde el principio organizando menús adecuados para nuestros gustos y presupuestos, etc. e imprimiendo estos menús específicos para nuestro grupo. Esto hizo que los trabajos de las damas de honor fueran súper fáciles y agradables, ya que no teníamos que preocuparnos por nada. Todos tuvimos deliciosas hamburguesas y una gran cantidad de burbujas en su encantador espacio privado de arriba durante un par de horas donde jugamos juegos y nos reímos mucho🥂 ¡Todos se fueron con combustible para un día y una noche de fiesta en Galway! ¡Gracias David por unas horas de diversión tan encantadoras para comenzar la fiesta de nuestra novia!

18/02/2025: Went here for Valentine’s Day and birthday because the original restaurant we booked made an error on the booking so we was so lucky to go next door and was greeted by the beautiful Ashlee! She saved the day and her customer service skills was perfect! She was so kind and honest and made sure we picked foods we liked , recommended wines and the food was the best I’ve eaten! I highly recommend this place to everyone!! Staff10/10 food 10/10 Thank you for the best evening and we will definitely see you again x

11/02/2025: Simply the best place to dine out in Cork City. Excellent food, truly wonderful service and a convivial atmosphere that's second to none. Lots of excellent options for meat eaters and vegetarians alike - I've never had a bad meal in this little gem of a restaurant (and I've had many, many good ones !)

06/03/2025: I brought my three hungry nephews to Scotty's on a recent Sunday afternoon/evening. The youngest in our group has dietary allergies which I flagged when I called ahead to make the reservation. Jenny was very helpful on the phone and said to let the server know when we arrived. All of the team who looked after us were very friendly, Jenny was on hand when we were there and she really went to great lengths to make sure the dietary restrictions were considered. I couldn't have asked for better service in this regard. Our food was very good. The 'small' nachos were plenty big for 3 of us to share before we got our mains of burgers, ribs and grilled chicken. The boys were delighted with their rocky mountain brownie and sundaes for dessert. 10/10. I've been coming to Scotty's since the '90s and their place in Middle St. They serve up consistently good food with great service. We'll be back again no doubt.

01/03/2025: Just dined at Scotty,s with my family, for my Birthday. As always, the Food and the Service were second to none. It would be a real challenge to find a better place to eat in Galway. Great food nice atmosphere, Staff always kind and happy to help you in any way they can.

11/03/2025: Era un lugar habitual para las reuniones de almuerzo, pero el último par de visitas han sido decepcionantes. Personal no irlandés, que está desinteresado en los comentarios. La calidad de la comida es mala. Antes me encantaba la ensalada César de pollo, ahora es todo trozos de lechuga tallo y muy poco pollo (que es de calidad inferior). Papas fritas cocinadas.

26/02/2025: Beautiful Pub, Comfortable rooms and great location. In the pub we ate a delicious hamburger and obviously a Guinness. I recommend it!

18/03/2025: We came to Donegal late about 8 pm, i search and is the best puntuation in Google maps. So we went there. The first contact a waiter that speaks Spanish, that it's a point when in your group not everybody speaks English. When we get the food all was wonderful, probably one of the best hamburguers in ireland that i tried, but the best was the turkey, the stuffing was like my family recipe, tasty and moist that in a turkey is quite difficult. Also the desserts were wonderful. If you came to Donegal came here. Very recommended. Dock in the harbour and have a good time.

11/03/2025: Most gorgeous food! We got the buttermilk chicken burger and it was devine. Would highly recommend it , cosy atmosphere and the friendliest staff.

02/03/2025: I’ve visited the porter house multiple times over the past few weeks and it keeps getting better! Staff are always so welcoming and helpful. Food is unbelievable, I would personally recommend the Steak Sandwich and the Honey & Brie Garlic Bread 😋 I would recommend that you reserve a table as they are always busy. There is a great selection of spirits, wine, beer, whiskey, cocktails, mocktails, and 0.0% alcoholic drinks. Would definitely recommend friends and family to visit!

10/03/2025: We went in a couple weekends ago visiting Dublin for only a few days. One of our parties birthdays and the staff made the occasion extra special!! Lovely and friendly the atmosphere was great and the food was delish! Even a vegan option to suit everyone in the group! Shout out to Denise who gave us some great recommendations for the trip and served us all night!

20/01/2025: Great selection of crepes and excellent service. Able to add and remove ingredients without issue. Food and coffees came out quickly and hot. Nearly all items on the menu can be made gluten free. So truly a great spot to come for gluten free options. There are a few tables inside and out if you choose to eat there. Take away is also available.

18/01/2025: Staff were very nice and friendly. Hot chocolate was near perfect. Only complaint is that Crepe was a little tough to eat with knife and fork.

18/03/2025: Was brought here by a local friend for lunch and it did not disappoint. The steak, fries, and sauce were incredible, both for taste and value. I'd venture that one would have a harder time beating this in Dublin. The steak was ordered rare and was overcooked, but still very edible and flavorful. Fries done in beef fallow had an excellent crunch and depth of flavor. The peppercorn sauce put the meal over the top. 10 out of 10 highly recommend and will be returning.
