13/06/2026: Great food (and really great mocktails) here. Was a bit disappointed with the service, as staff were more concerned with talking amongst themselves than trying at all to connect with guests.

12/06/2026: We had an awesome meal at this unique bar/pub/restaurant for our final night in Ireland. The inside is totally unique-all the seating is divided up into tiny rooms or booths so it feels VERY private and cozy. We had a view to the front street so also good people watching. The menu has lots of inventive twists on the classic Irish pub menu. We started with the warm garlic bread with Brie and honey-delicious and sticky (bit they give you wet wipes). We also tried their version of a wedge salad which was fine but pales a bit when Compared to its American cousin. The real standout for uniqueness was the 7 oz filet served at the table on an 800 degree stone. It comes out seared in the kitchen on the stone so you can then finish it to your liking (hint: slice it to make things easier and faster). The steak came with several sides including patatas bravas, onion rings and more and at €46 was a decent deal. We shared all the courses and it was plenty of food. The modest wine list has several by the glass options but no real standouts. Glasses come in Two sizes. I REALLY enjoyed the smoked old fashioned drink with earthy woodsmoke trapped then released from the glass at the table. It’s a bit tough on the servers-the layout-as it is harder to keep an eye on your customers so expect service to feel a little off/leisurely. A great time and a fun spot right in the heart of Killarney. Highly recommended.

02/04/2026: This is a wonderful place to eat, portions are filling and the quality is outstanding. Take your budget and throw it out the window because you will be spending a pretty penny, but if you have a special occasion or really want to treat yourself it is worth it. The menu has evolved over the years and I am happy to say that I have enjoyed every change. Staff are wonderful and professional, they really help to craft and facilitate an outstanding experience whatever the occasion.

01/05/2026: We had a perfect experience at Ryleigh’s! We celebrated my daughter 16th birthday there yesterday, and everything exceeded our expectations. The service was impeccable, and a special highlight to the kitchen crew; absolutely phenomenal. You can truly feel the passion and talent behind every dish. The food was simply outstanding, easily one of the best dining experiences we’ve had. A huge thank you to the incredible team for making the night so special. Highly recommend!

23/05/2026: We went for lunch on the recommendation of a friend. The place is small, but if you book or arrive a little early, you can easily find a table. The menu is very simple, with just a few burgers, to which you can add a few toppings and extras. The burger was excellent! The fries are especially noteworthy: they have several different types, and the portions are quite generous. Recommended!

10/04/2026: Mixed feelings about Brookwood. I visited with my wife on a Friday just before Valentine’s Day, and the experience got off to a rough start. The host rushed down the stairs and hurried us to our table in a very chaotic way — already a bit of a red flag, even understanding it was a busy night. The food took a while, but to be fair, it was tasty — and priced accordingly, as this isn’t a cheap place. Unfortunately, what really ruined the evening was the service. The staff felt very inattentive and disorganized: bottles of wine being dropped, glasses falling, and at one point two staff members chatting at the bar instead of paying attention to the floor. Overall, the chaotic atmosphere and lack of professionalism took away from what should have been a more polished experience, especially for a place that charges premium prices.

25/05/2026: Lucas made our dinner memorable and delightful! The food was great and the service was even better! We even went back to see him the night after our dinner! Next time we are back in Dublin we will definitely visit him again.

26/05/2026: DO NOT eat here if you are COELIAC or require GLUTEN FREE. I was at the afters of a funeral. This premises did the catering and it was brought into the afters. Food arrives in a container marked gluten free and I believe this was. A burger and chips both very nice. However they kept bringing food to our table of 4 (chips, onion rings and halloumi sticks). I advised the staff, 2 of us at the table were coeliac and thus we didn't need as much food but they told us the chips, onion rings and halloumi sticks were gluten free. I was shocked as they looked lovely. They assured me they use seperate fryers so they did seem to be aware of cross contamination. Immediately after eating the onion rings and halloumi sticks I felt the reaction started in my mouth. For me it's instantaneous. Luckily I had my epipen with me. I felt instantly nauseous. I rang BóTOWN and pointed out a mistake had been made and I had been poisoned with gluten and she said 'sorry'. I was so angry. My weekend in Galway was ruined, I vomited, luckily I did not have to use my epipen but sorry doesn't cut it. Be warned.

23/05/2026: Perfect juicy burger with blue cheese, lovely fries and a stout from a local brewery. Friendly staff that made us very welcome

21/05/2026: We came here not particularly hungry and ended up not leaving a single piece on our plates! We got the Flatpan, their famous chicken (we didn't know it when we ordered it) and a dessert (tofu gato). I highly recommend it to foodies and hungry people!

20/05/2026: We arrived very late for our reservation, the restaurant was closing, but they treated us with great kindness. The food was delicious, reasonably priced, and the atmosphere was wonderful.

03/06/2026: Totally underwhelmed and disappointed by the quality of the food presented and the decor in this restaurant. My friend and I shared the nachos which were passable but the fajitas were presented on a non sizzling dish made up of mostly onions, a few scatterings of peppers and straggly pieces of chicken. The small dishes of salsa were definitely not fresh, the grated cheese had a powdered coating on it and the sour cream tasted more like a whipped sweet cream. On paying the bill for such an awful meal we weren’t asked if we had enjoyed our meal or anything before we left. This in my opinion is a restaurant I certainly won’t be visiting again.

12/06/2026: We had sunday lunch here a few weeks ago for my mothers 83rd birthday. The food was great and the service couldn't have been any better. The table wasn't needed after we finished the meal so we stayed for a few more drinks. Cost / Bill wasted bad and well worth it. The only small issue was the volume of the music for a lunch time.

The service staff is incredibly friendly, and the food was so delicious that we ate there several times – sadly, you hardly ever find this level of service in Germany anymore. 19/05/2026: Last year we visited Pitt Bros for the first time during our holiday, and it was fantastic. We were really excited to come back during this trip — and once again, it did not disappoint. The food was delicious, the price-quality ratio is more than fair, and the atmosphere was great. The team was friendly, welcoming, and clearly working hard to give everyone a good experience. To top off the evening, we even received a complimentary soft serve ice cream, which brought back some great childhood memories. A really nice touch to end a lovely evening. Definitely a place we’d happily return to again when visiting Dublin 🍖✨
