28/09/2026: After a week away it was a joy to drive through Charleville & stop here for a bite for eat. I had heard alot about it. We didn't have a reservation but the girl kindly checked if she had sonething available & brought us to a beautiful glasshouse area for our meal. I highly recommend the bangers & mash with the mushrooms & onions. It was delicious. The staff are a credit to the place, nothing seemed a problem to them & they all seemed happy to be there. I definitely will return. Thank you

18/09/2026: The place is very nice, softly lit, not too noisy, perfect for conversation. The menu is simple, with four sandwiches to choose from and the option to add ingredients like cucumber, tomato, bacon (for an extra charge), and sauces. The staff is friendly, unobtrusive, but just the right amount. The cheeseburger is good, not too big, but just enough to fill you up. The meat is good, cooked to perfection, just how I asked for it. Excellent value, especially in a city like Dublin, where prices have risen significantly.

06/10/2026: I ordered the Mighty Bucket for One and even showed the staff a picture of the menu. It should include 2 Original Recipe pieces, 2 Tenders and 2 Hot Wings, but I only received 4 pieces.

16/09/2026: The chicken was dripping with oil. I couldn't taste anything other than pure fat. I've always liked KFC, but I couldn't even eat half of this one because it was inedible. If you're looking for something to eat in Jervis, stay away from this restaurant. Worst KFC I've ever had in my life.

08/09/2026: Popular spot where you can enjoy a wide array of starters, salads and mains. Great bar service by all of the ladies who waited on us. New pool table downstairs is a fantastic addition to the features of this tavern. Definitely need bookings on the weekends.

06/10/2026: Visited on a Sunday evening with my wife for her Birthday. Very surprised at what was before us. We both ordered fillet steaks, none available, so we decided to go for two sirloins instead, none available. Our only other option was the T bone to share at €130, wow, this is meant to be a steak house. Overall the food was generally tasteless. The only saving grace for the evening was the maitre d, a great character, friendly and deeply apologetic. In my opinion, this steak house is massively overpriced (€55 fillet, €54 sirloin + €€€ for extras) for what you get compared to Fire or Featherblade, shame on Chef for not forcasting/ordering enough stock, very disappointed at the evening in general, definitely won't be returning and would find it very hard to recommend.

05/10/2026: Amazing food — everything we ordered was absolutely outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavour. The restaurant itself is gorgeous, with a beautiful view, elegant interiors and a warm, attentive team. The whole experience was simply exceptional from start to finish. Definitely a place I would love to come back to!

03/09/2026: I order regularly from BoTown in Galway and have always found the food excellent, particularly the burgers. Tonight, though, I wanted to leave a review for a different reason — and specifically to recognise Amy, who looked after my order. I placed the order while I was driving and unfortunately my location was picked up incorrectly. From the moment Amy became involved, I have to say she was simply superb. What impressed me most about Amy wasn’t whether the order could be rectified or even the fact that the food is always good. It was the way she handled the whole situation. She took my circumstances and well-being into consideration, while at the same time being genuinely conscious of the driver and his well-being too. She was calm, understanding, practical and clearly cared about doing the right thing for everyone involved. I’ve been employing people for most of my working life, and you learn to recognise an exceptional employee when you come across one. Amy is exactly that. If she were working for me, she would be right at the top of the tree in any team I had. People like Amy are a credit to a business, and I genuinely hope BoTown management recognise what they have in her. Good customer service can be taught, but genuine empathy, common sense and consideration for people are much harder to find. So, while I’ll continue ordering from BoTown because the food and burgers are excellent, tonight’s five stars are very much for Amy. Well done, Amy, and thank you.

20/08/2026: Excellent food. Service was fantastic. We went in about 45 mins before closing and everything was perfect. Our server was so nice, she was attentive and knowledgeable when recommending a local beer. The burger was 10/10 no notes. A definite try in Galway

01/06/2026: Had a great experience at the Coach House at the weekend. Terrific atmosphere on Sat for the champions league final, then had a superb meal on Sunday. My wife and Aunt had roast beef and I had the beef curry, meat was cooked to perfection. Very attentive bar and waitress staff, and cracking pint of Krombacher. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone passing through or staying in Balinteer!

01/10/2026: Had such a lovely experience at Eddie Rocket’s! The food was really good, the atmosphere was great, but what really stood out was the amazing service. A huge thank you to Vanessa, our waitress! She was honestly one of the nicest and most polite people I’ve come across in customer service. She was super friendly, welcoming, attentive and always had a lovely attitude. She made us feel really comfortable and looked after us so well throughout the whole visit. Vanessa genuinely deserves recognition for how well she treats customers. Please give this girl a raise! 😂 She is so polite, super nice and clearly puts a lot of effort into making sure customers have a great experience. Employees like her are exactly what makes people want to come back. Management should definitely know how much of a positive impact she has. Massive thanks to Vanessa for making our visit even better! ❤️ I’ll definitely be coming back to Eddie Rocket’s!

08/09/2026: Came here on a Sunday evening and found the waitress was very helpful and accommodating, seated us outside as we had a dog with us. Got pizzas and shared prawns, pizzas were grand, perfectly acceptable and the prawns were tasty albeit very expensive for 5 of them at 17 quid. Nice fews from location, a pleasant experience
