17/08/2026: Hadn’t been for a while and ordered a pint and spirit with diet 7up… €3:30 for a “splash” of not diet 7up but 7up free absolutely shocking … I question the bar man and he just shrugged his shoulders. I asked why not a bottle and was told only a bottle in full 7up and when asked the cost €3.30. So where you’d usually get two drinks and one mixer … not here… go somewhere else 😡😡

19/07/2026: Don’t get the hype! Driest pizza ever. They have pizzas in cases and “take your order” whilst they heat cold pizza up. It’s so dry and tasteless. Also asked the staff for a pizza with ham, pineapple etc and they handed me a margarita pizza and said that’s what o ordered. Needs a bang of garlic sauce.

14/08/2026: Great food, its a bit undersalted but you can ask for extra salt so its not bad. The wraps are absolutly delightfull. Can only recomend.

20/06/2026: Very good food at a reasonable price, the waiters were very attentive and the atmosphere was cosy; what’s more, the dining room is very large and spacious, with plenty of space between the tables – I really liked it

21/06/2026: My sincerest thanks to Maria and her team for our fantastic experience in Coqbull Limerick for our stag party reservation. Maria was incredibly professional and the service was extremely efficient, particularly for a group as large as ours. Many of the group remarked positively on the high quality of food and how welcoming the staff were. Would absolutely recommend!

15/07/2026: Food was decent service was good but it took quite a while to get the bill. We also needed a few things like ketchup and had to go up to the bar to receive it. Atmosphere was okay, lots of kids which makes it quite noisy.

18/08/2026: I had been so looking forward to trying your restaurant the next time I was in Clonakilty which happened to be the 7/8/26. I was stood waiting at the door for a few mins with my husband and sister, as nobody would serve me until a short haired blonde lady eventually appeared, asked what she could do for me and I asked "Could we have a table for 3 people? All she replied with was NO. I was a bit taken aback by her short response, I understand that inside was probably booked up with reservations, so I asked "can we sit outside? She replied with "I suppose... but you will be waiting awhile for your food as we prioritise the people inside first." I was so shocked by this, as there were diners outside already eating and there were empty tables BOTH inside and outside. The whole interaction left me so upset and angry. I will never dine at the Whale's Tail because of this interaction. I know ye probably don't care about loosing our custom but how many other people have been put off or will be put off because of this lady.

17/08/2026: Very convenient to walk to from Clonakilty town center- next to the Distillery. Delicious cocktails made from local spirits. Wonderful food and service.

06/08/2026: I visit Supermac’s regularly, and I always have a great experience. The staff are very friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile. The food is always fresh and of very good quality, and the place is always clean and well organized. You can tell they really care about providing excellent customer service. I definitely recommend it, and it’s a place I’ll keep coming back to.

02/08/2026: Donnacha was very customer satisfaction oriented and professional,myself and a colleague eat Breakfast and lunch there for a week while attending a course,i would highly recommend this place

21/08/2026: Great spot to stop off to refuel both your vehicle and yourself. Plenty of hot food options. The dining area is bright and clean and there's also a decent mini-market.

24/07/2026: Genuinely a great spot, the city felt the loss when the original location closed but the new location is just as good if not better. None of its character or atmosphere was lost in the move of the location. All the games on site will bring back pure nostalgia for anyone who has even dabbled in arcade/home gaming in their youth. If you want to get on the wall of fame you better bring your A game though!

31/05/2026: A lovely place, tradtional pub setting. Plenty of indoor and outdoor space. Very clean, spotless I would say, including bathrooms. Fantastic food and a good choice on the menu. Staff very friendly. Food is fantastic. I had a beef dinner, nice portion of food, no mean servings here and piping hot, no cold food here. My wife had the chicken curry, gorgeous, she would have liked a little more rice but a small complaint really. She also had a couple of pints of Heineken, they looked gorgeous and she said they were lovely. Kids meals very good. My son with autism had roast beef (half portion) chips and gravy, he loved it and hoovered it up. The small kids had chicken goujons and chips and sausages and chips, both really good meals and everyone very happy going home. My only regret was I couldn't try a pint of Guinness, they looked like mothers milk.
