04/01/2026: Whilst in Ireland our friends booked for my wife and I to have a meal on New Year’s Eve . The four of us chose 10oz Fillet Steak‘s . The whole meal was excellent but the steak was the best that I’ve ever had .

19/12/2025: Food is incredible with so much flavour and quality. Great selection of BBQ options and even some classic and interesting burger options. Great value for the quality of the food and decent portion size. Loved having the ability to mix and match with different menu items. Will definitely be returning.

06/12/2025: Probably the best brisket I’ve had in Dublin. We were there early evening and the restaurant area was chilly. Staff were friendly and attentive.

13/12/2025: Came across Hillbilly's Walkinstown by chance the other night and I was very impressed. Food was excellent, staff very friendly and the place just looks the part.I don't do reviews generally but in this case, credit where credit is due.

26/12/2025: Chips not cooked (for the 3rd time), chicken fillet burger little more than a tender. For a place that was always so good, it seems to be going downhill fast. Very disappointing when the price of things is so high.

08/12/2025: I went in today with a friend of mine and we got two large burger meals, one of them with a taco chip, we had received the meals and we got given two small chips and cold burgers. We sent the burgers back and got another cold burger and then the same thing again. So we got 6 cold burgers and the service was shocking and there was bad management and they didn’t even have the audacity to say say sorry either.

19/10/2025: We’ve been coming to our local pub for years now – my parents are in there every sunday without fail – and it’s honestly like a second home. Tonight we celebrated a special birthday for my parents there, and as always, they didn’t miss a beat. Mary sorted the table for us and coordinated everything perfectly a week in advance . The staff were amazing – friendly, on the ball, and even brought the cake out at just the right moment. Mick ensured the Drinks flowed smoothly, and thank you the the chefs the food was spot on, and the whole evening just felt easy and relaxed. It’s places like this that remind you what good hospitality really is. When the team know your name and go the extra mile without you even asking – it makes all the difference. Big thanks to everyone at the pub for always looking after us so well!

23/11/2025: Had burgers, deep fried Brie, chicken wings that tasted reheated for the 3rd time, brownie and Bailey’s cheesecake for Desert. The burgers had no veg, just bun and the burger, dry. Worst burgers we’ve eaten. Very underwhelming, in fact disappointing. In terms of the atmosphere, at first there was no music playing, you could hear everyone’s conversation and them eating their food. I asked the waitress for music and then apparently they turned it on but it was very quiet. So I asked the guy who looked like a manager if the music could be turned up louder on this side of the restaurant, he kinda responded in an annoyed tone and the waitress girl was scared to ask him again I told her I’ll ask him myself. Anyways, the food didn’t make up for it. Also the sauce on the brownie was cold, makes no sense. We didn’t get a menu for like 10-20 minutes. Won’t be back

30/12/2025: I have eaten here twice and realty enjoyed it. Solid Italian fare mostly and close to a great pub. Staff were very hospitable. Worth the trip to Howth.

24/12/2025: Christmas Eve family meal and I felt sorry for the staff left trying to run the restaurant. From the moment we arrived it was amateur hour . Won’t be back and will not recommend to any one.

30/12/2025: Worst place, worst atmosphere in Ireland 🫠 Cold, dusty and dirty, empty sadness. Also restroom is only for staffs, not for customers…

12/12/2025: Been going here for years for the chilli chips and can easily say it’s Michelin star worthy. However, I recently saw the business up for sale and noticed there are new staff. We recently got the chilli chips twice and it just wasn’t the same. I was so sad because it was such a good thing for so long. The mince wasn’t the same flavour and it tasted like it needed cooking for longer. I really hope they can achieve it the same way as it was as it truly was something spectacular!!!

07/07/2025: Came here recently for dinner based on word of mouth recommendations. Staff were friendly, and the food and drink tasted good. Choice was a little limited for non-meat eaters though.
