13/12/2025: Came across Hillbilly's Walkinstown by chance the other night and I was very impressed. Food was excellent, staff very friendly and the place just looks the part.I don't do reviews generally but in this case, credit where credit is due.

04/01/2026: Whilst in Ireland our friends booked for my wife and I to have a meal on New Year’s Eve . The four of us chose 10oz Fillet Steak‘s . The whole meal was excellent but the steak was the best that I’ve ever had .

29/12/2025: Food was very well seasoned, fresh, hot and reasonably priced for Dublin. Almost comparable to a bbq joint in Texas, would recommend the brisket. The 2 meat combo platter was plenty for two people.

08/11/2025: Typical supermac, handy for late eating since they are open till 11 am. Same menu as any other supermac anywhere else in Ireland. Decent atmosphere. 3 star for service is because somehow they always manage to mess up my order

08/11/2025: Food and staff are amazing i order almost every week never hadan issue, food always arrives on time,and the delivery guys are so lovely. Definitely recommend supermacs carrick on shannon every time.

17/02/2026: Went here because my college promoted a 10% off student discount on the lunch meals. I haven't explored many places to eat in Dublin (as an aforementioned broke college student,) but this made a great impression on me! A cozy and warm dining experience with kind and receptive staff, amazing food (best pulled pork sandwich I've ever had) and good bang for your buck. €9 for a filling sandwich and a generously portioned 99? Yes, thank you very much. I did get the 10% off but ended up tipping enough to cancel it out because the experience put me in such a good mood. Would recommend!!

08/02/2026: Definitely Must go!!! Went there yesterday and place very busy. Got the table very fast. Food was amazing!!! We got 5 meat combo + extra brisket. The boys know how to make BBQ!!!

20/02/2026: Nice food and pints. Would be a 5, but the only thing I could say was I ordered mash potatoes and was asked do I want gravy so I said yes. €3 for a really tiny portion of gravy seems a bit ridiculous when the mash is only €5, only seen it on my bill later.

19/02/2026: I really love the atmosphere here and the staff are so friendly. The only thing is that the cocktails don’t quite look or taste the way I expected them to. Other than that, everything is great — and the fries are absolutely my favorite! ✨

24/12/2025: Christmas Eve family meal and I felt sorry for the staff left trying to run the restaurant. From the moment we arrived it was amateur hour . Won’t be back and will not recommend to any one.

12/12/2025: Been going here for years for the chilli chips and can easily say it’s Michelin star worthy. However, I recently saw the business up for sale and noticed there are new staff. We recently got the chilli chips twice and it just wasn’t the same. I was so sad because it was such a good thing for so long. The mince wasn’t the same flavour and it tasted like it needed cooking for longer. I really hope they can achieve it the same way as it was as it truly was something spectacular!!!
