14/07/2026: Awful! We were waiting 45-50mins for our food while other tables received theirs ahead of us. When we enquired how long more we would have to wait they said they were very busy. However it did not seem busy at all. €20 for a main course of wings (6 wings!!!), a tiny portion of chips and a tiny bit of lettuce. So disappointing! Most items on the menu ranged from €20-€30 for very basic dishes. I would not recommend, there are plenty of better restaurants to choose from in the area.

14/07/2026: Great lunch stop along the Ring of Kerry. The seafood chowder was just right and my wife had the spinach salad and substituted prawns for bacon. Large variety of beers available on tap.

06/03/2026: I had a great experience at KFC in the Marshes Shopping Centre, Dundalk. The food was absolutely delicious and everything tasted fresh and hot. The service was excellent as well — all the workers were so friendly and welcoming. A special shoutout to Kate, who was incredibly kind and patient. She made the experience even better with her great attitude and helpfulness. I was also impressed with how fast the service was — it took less than 5 minutes to get my food! The restaurant had such a lovely, comfortable environment and the whole visit was really enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back again soon. Highly recommend!

28/06/2026: Grand spot. Had my birthday dinner there. Fantastic location. Some view. Good service. Lovely food. Plenty off. Kids meals very expensive(irish thing). Overall highly recommend. Mains about 25eur to 30eur.Kids meals at 10.95euro totally irish ripoff for sure. Great view at the window !!

17/05/2026: Dreadful staff. Met at the door by the rudest man. No greeting what so ever, just a blunt have you got a booking. We didn't so we were sent to the corner of the restaurant with no window! I did ask a girl could we get a window seat and we were told if you don't book you can't sit beside a window. Bizzare set up considering the restaurant had more staff there than customers. 2 guys in the bar, disgraceful, I've never come across such ignorance. And the language they were using,( to each other) we were sat right at the bar so could hear everything. Food itself was lovely. Lovely menu plenty of selection, but the staff and the service leave nothing to desire a return visit. Management definitely need to look into the people they have fronting such a stunning venue. Host man- rude/miserable Serving staff- polite but young, no attention to detail Bar staff- dreadful *TIP* give your customers a nice experience and they might just come back! Instead of making them feel like a total inconvenience.

02/02/2026: Great place to have a nice meal. Service was fast and staff was friendly. Food was delicious. I would definitely come back if in the area. I think 4.1 overall stars don't do them justice. I think if you want American diner experience and tasty food then step inside.

29/06/2026: Chicken hut has always been my to go place. I even recommended it to others over the years. But sad to say the last 3 visits I've got very sick after eating their. And last night was my very last time going their. I dont drink so its definitely the food. The Chicken pieces have become so small not even sure what it is they are serving Definitely never going there again.

08/07/2026: I stopped at Supermac’s in Moate for a quick bite while passing through, and I have to say the experience was excellent. The young lady at the counter was an absolute pleasure to deal with—extremely polite, friendly, and very patient when I needed a moment to transfer money after ordering. I ordered a grilled chicken burger along with three tenders. The food was fresh, as I’ve come to expect from Supermac’s, and it was brought out to my table promptly. The staff here really stood out for their attitude and level of service. It made a simple stop feel very welcoming. Both cash and card are accepted, which is always convenient

08/07/2026: Service was shocking no cutlery on tables asked a few times we had to go looking for some. Found one to do between 2 of us.. By the time we where nearly finished our meal they eventually gave us some. Food was ok but very expensive

05/07/2026: Interesting place to have a meal. Decoration and ambient nice. Food was good, ok quantities and taste. Children menus available. Good location as it becomes a good alternative went spending time shopping and requires a meal

17/05/2026: I loved the toilets smelt so fresh, but i dropped my burger in the urinal, it made me cry , i went outside and coloured in the kids page and then i listened to micheal jackson on the dukebox, would defo recommend to family and friends and collegouges and old friends from school but not my neighbour john, he never cut the grass outside my house

30/04/2026: Hi everyone! Did you know that Sake Dog now offers Mexican food? We were pleasantly surprised and decided to try their burritos-they were delicious. The service was great, the music was enjoyable, and the place itself is clean, bright, and welcoming. I highly recommend it -definitely worth a visit!

28/06/2026: We waited for over 15 minutes for ice crema, and although several staff members walked past us, no one acknowledged us or took our order. The restaurant wasn't even busy, which made the lack of service even more frustrating. Hopefully they can improve their customer service, as no customer should be left waiting without being acknowledged.

22/06/2026: The burger tower was very good, but the bread in the sandwich was excessively chewy and the meat was a bit overcooked. It's true that when we mentioned the bread (after we'd finished), simply as a suggestion and not as a complaint, although the girl seemed annoyed, she offered us a free drink (which wasn't our intention).

20/06/2026: The place looks nice and has a lot of presentation, but the overall experience wasn’t great. The food didn’t meet expectations: the steak sandwich came with tough meat and chewy bread, and the burgers were just average. The service was also disappointing. When I asked if the meat could be cooked rare, the waitress reacted with a dismissive gesture and walked away, saying no. We didn’t feel well treated. The restaurant has potential, but both the food quality and the customer service need improvement.
