22/06/2026: If you are looking for a proper, nostalgic American diner experience in Dublin, this branch of Eddie Rocket’s at Point Square is an absolute must-visit. The moment you step inside, you are hit with a fantastic, authentic diner vibe—from the retro booths to the classic decor. It feels incredibly genuine, and because it’s located in a quieter mall, you can actually sit back and enjoy the atmosphere without the usual city center chaos.
The food here is outstanding and exactly what you’d expect from a real diner. The burgers have that authentic, juicy American flavor profile that completely blows standard fast-food chains like McDonald's or Burger King out of the water. It’s on a completely different level of quality. I tried the bacon burger, and it was cooked to perfection—rich, savory, and highly satisfying. To top it off, their milkshakes are incredibly delicious, thick, and creamy. It’s the perfect companion to a hearty burger.
The menu offers a great variety of comfort food, so there’s something for everyone. On top of the great food, the pricing is very reasonable for the quality and portions you get. The staff here are wonderful—friendly, attentive, and quick with the service. Another massive plus that deserves a mention is that the bathrooms are spotlessly clean, which really shows the management's commitment to high hygiene standards.
Whether you're grabbing a bite before a movie at the Odeon next door or just craving a proper American meal in peace, this Eddie Rocket’s delivers on all fronts. A solid 5 stars
12/06/2026: I am very disappointed, having lived in Ireland for many years and had Eddie Rockets as our favorite burger and fries place.
Today I came for a visit from Switzerland and had the double cheese burger and chili cheese fries and a milk shake.
Very poor experience, vanilla shake tasted synthetic and the burger was a fatty burger with two meat patties and very dry roasted bacon.
Eddie, what happened ? Have you grown to big and lost your purpose and sense of quality ?
