13/03/2024: Great Place for Grub in Ballindine. Two Ladies of Indian descent are Absolutely Superb Manner and Attitude. Would Definitely go out of our way to visit here again.

30/03/2024: I remember when BBQ spots started popping up in Dublin, with Pitt Bros, My Meat Wagon, and BISON leading the charge. Each had their strong points; BISON was my go-to for brisket. Fast forward to the present, and it’s clear things have changed. Pitt Bros and MMW have kept up the pace, but BISON has sadly fallen behind. Decided to give BISON another go while in town. We got seated quickly, which was a plus. However, it took 25 minutes for someone to acknowledge us, only to be told they’d be back in 5 minutes. Meanwhile, a couple who arrived after us got their drink order in before us. It took a full 30 minutes from sitting down to get our order taken, and another 30 for the food to arrive. The place wasn’t even busy. Now, onto the food - and not in a good way. The brisket was so far off the mark, it was like thin slices of roast beef, served with watery gravy. The sausage was tough, and the less said about the ribs, the better. The coleslaw seemed worse than what you’d pick up in a supermarket. My other half ordered a pulled pork burger, which turned out to be just chunks of pork on a bun that you had to pull apart yourself. Not exactly what you’d expect. Honestly, I don’t know why I thought of giving this a 2/5 initially. It was easily one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in ages, from the service to the food. I’m adjusting it to 1/5 because even the value for money was poor. A real letdown from what BISON used to be. It looks like BISON’s best days are well behind it. Lastly, this place should be two separate places on Google. The Bison Bar is still fantastic. The Bison BBQ restaurant is terrible.

03/04/2024: The cleanest McDonalds I have ever seen. Uninterrupted cleanliness even during busy lunch hours. Very quick service.

15/03/2024: Fantastic cafe/bar to visit, fanatics service, tasty drinks and delicious food, all reasonably priced. Beautiful decor with a fitting ambience, do not hesitate to visit!

14/03/2024: My wife and I were there for an Early Bird, but there was an extra €10 charge for the rib-eye and you have to pay for potatoes and veg. The steak was very good, a portion of mashed potatoes were watery. The meal - 1 starter, 2 main coarses, 1 dessert, 1 glass of white wine and a sprite, was €100 without service. That's expensive for an Early Bird.

12/03/2024: We had a fantastic mother's day dinner here last weekend. The food was amazing!!! Every dish the 4 of us had, starters, mains, sides and desserts were all incredible. Good portions and all very tasty. The wine was great and the service was fantastic. We had such a lovely evening. Definitely our new favourite place to eat!

30/04/2024: Great place to eat. Very friendly staff. This reveiew was edited as the previous one was incorrect as it related to another place where we had a bad experience, that is not the case here, we are very happy with this place.

12/03/2024: I am involved in my local rugby club and we had our first tour last week. We arranged to stop in Supermacs in Moate on the way back home to feed the 47 players along with accompanying adults and coaches. Eilish and the team could not have done more to look after us. Everything we needed was provided. The children were delighted too. Thanks a million for looking after us. Everyone is looking forward to our next visit!

03/04/2024: Atmosphere:clean and very outgoing vibe. Service: very knowledgeable on the menu item. And very helpful to what suits to your liking if you want to combine 2 flavours Food: The ice cream is good, but the pistachio cheesecake flavours were a bit too dense and overpowering when taking a bite from the pistachio surround areas of the scoop. I think if I went to the regular flavour none cheesecake , I'd would've enjoyed it much more as a pistachio lover. The cone was good texture and not bland you could enjoy it even without the scoop of ice cream which is hard to find.

02/02/2024: There is nothing special about this place other than ice creams. Their staff needs to be trained up for making coffee. I bought three different coffee all were same. They Dont know what they are trying to make even. Very disappointed.

08/03/2024: Outstanding fish and seafood restaurant with an oyster bar. Excellent oysters and fish & chips.

22/12/2023: Was once a great pub, they changed the bar menu and that was that. Good place on a sunny day to sit by the river. Apart from that it's not worthy of spending time here

07/03/2024: Despite a 20 minute preparation time I was served some of the driest (if not The driest) and most tasteless burgers I've ever had. On the other hand, the fries were among the soggiest I've had. All served in a stressful environment dominated by drunk teenage groups and constant, stressed announcements.

15/02/2024: The food is what u expect.... good service and value for money, it's clean and staff can't help you enough well worth the visit!

02/02/2024: Dirty, horrible Supermacs. 3 x €5 sundaes with some of the ingredients missing. They didn't mention missing ingredients when taking the order. It's not the same treat when missing key ingredients. The kids were disappointed. I expected better from Supermacs.
