15/10/2024: Really nice brunch here, food came quickly and was super filling. I was surprised that they only had filter coffee but it was also quite tasty so no issues. Prices do let them down as I was really shocked to be charged €4 for each small cup of black coffee, that is more than you would pay for a cappuccino or latte in some places. I would still come back to try something else as the food was really good! But the price of the coffee left a sour taste in my mouth, €4 for a tiny cup of black coffee was a surprise and not nice to feel you have been ripped off.

25/10/2025: The food was good, and the prices are reasonable. The quality of the food here seems a bit higher than other fast food options. If you have a larger group, there is an upstairs dining area (it was closed when I was there for dinner). My only real complaint was that the wait time for the food seemed a bit long. I believe I was waiting for about 20+ minutes, and there were people waiting for even more time that had already ordered before I arrived.

She is the perfect example of how not to lead or manage the without exception great staff behind the counter Arrogant, condescending and dismissive are descriptors that come to mind . Maybe a few secret shopper visits are due here The staff need help not barking at.

23/12/2025: Great burger joint with a long history and great chicken wings. It’s gone down a bit recently, the soft drinks were only splashes for €4 and no lemon. The new menu doesn’t describe the topping on the burgers which makes no sense! We had to google them. Patchy service.

05/11/2025: We were there on holiday. We ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries and a kid's cheeseburger. We didn't have to wait long for the food. It was very tasty. Unfortunately, there's no customer restroom, which is quite useful if you're staying longer or want to wash your hands after eating. All in all, though, we were very satisfied.

02/12/2025: The kiosk machines are missing the till rolls to print the receipt. I used a company card and need a receipt for tax purposes. A Indian looking man in a red shirt promised me to get me a receipt, but he just trow my order number on the bin and walked away. I waited some time and 2 people where trying to sort out the recipt but with no success. Eventually the manager came (nice young man, had nice manners) and finally sorted the problem and i got thr receipt. It should no be this difficult.

I have been to most part of the restaurants in Dun Laoghaire the last 2 years living around to try the food, and all the places here (regardless the cuisine’s style - Italian, american, japanese, chinese, french, Indian, burger and sandwich, kebab…) provide a delicious and well served food BUT this place. It’s the first time in Dun Laoghaire that I do regret buying and eating something. The service is the only “ok” part but nothing outstanding, the premises pretty cold and many tables and floor dirty with bags full of bin in the middle… and about the food I am speechless to describe as so poor, small and tasteless it is and a high price charged basing on such low quality and quantity. Guys, please… I do recommend you to give a good stroll around through the neighbourhood and learn with the other restaurants (even above you the burgers are better). You have such a nice and extremely well based spot with all the potential and throw all this away with this kind of “supermarket burger” you sell! Next time I would rather go to McDonalds instead of walking into this place to eat - obs: I hate McDonalds for being such a bland food 🙃

26/12/2025: DEPRESSING EXPERIENCE I was walking in Dun Laoighaire with my friend and we were both hungry so naturally we looked around for place to eat and stumbled across “Rockets” initially we thought it was “Eddie Rockets” but we found out it wasn’t, however we decided to enter. The place is decent looking, overall clean I would called it even a niche place to bring a girl if you guys don’t mind the loud covers of copy righted songs however the quality of the food for the price doesn’t match whatsoever, I had spend over €22 on a “spicy” chicken sandwich,fries,drink and garlic sauce. The “spicy” chicken sandwich ; The chicken sandwich was not spicy whatsoever but rather more sweet since they actually put honey onto it, I expected it to be a fillet but it was three depressing looking tenders, the breading was barely there and it was lacking flavour, the brioche bun was decent it wasn’t dry or anything but it also just looked bland nothing special about it. The fries; The fries had to probably be the best part of the meal, they were fairly seasoned but not very crispy and fluffy, the garlic sauce was saving the situation however initially when I was handed the sauce I opened it and found a small hair inside which I then got up walked over to the counter and asked to get a new one when I was greeted by the question “why?” I showed why and i immediately received an apology along with a new sauce. The drink; They just give you a normal paper cup nothing special to say about it. Garlic sauce; Was actually a good garlic sauce apart from the hair situation.

10/12/2025: I went with some friends and we had a good time. There was live music and I think it's a great place to unwind.
