Captain Americas in Dublin

Hi, a person of 68yrs who has been a great supporter of Captain Americas through the years. Back in late 70's ,was nurse training in local area, 10 in the group & would have regularly gone for dinner in restaurant. After that ,visited often,when in Dublin cityh. My family would also have been regulars. My youngest Son, insisted on a visit with us ,before he emigrated to Canada on 2017. Captain Americas has been a big part of my life for many years. A lot of good memories. Sad to see it go, but hope new enterprise will be as good.

We were lost, not knowing where to eat; it was after 3:00 PM. And yes, without any problem, they served us a delicious meal: a beef stew and a lamb stew. Thank you for your attention. May 12, 2026

Good food. Service was a little lacking (it was not busy but staff had plenty of time to talk to each other) but then maybe that's the norm here. A little on the pricey side but serving size is large. The fajitas were large enough to split between two people.

Loved this place. Super friendly staff and the mozerlla sticks were out of this world. The home made raspberry jam that comes with the mozzarella sticks was amazing too, if only they sold this to take away I'd have had a couple of jars. Would definitely recommend 👌

I went there with a friend, good place to hang out. Great for drinks.

Had to check this place out as an American in Dublin and I loved it! Very reminiscent of a BBQ joint in the states, with the rock and roll decor and a killer cocktail menu with great food!

Really disappointing, went in on a Sunday expecting the face painter and she wasn’t there? This was the main reason my kids love to go there. Haven’t gone since.

Visiting from America and decided to try out this place. Mainly because of captain America. I got a bacon cheeseburger and asked for double stack, thinking it would make it a double patty but instead it was 4 😅 but in the end it was still super delicious and juicy. Service was also amazing and fast. I love all of the collectors items they have hung up on the walls and they even have their old menus by the bathrooms!

We were completely impressed that it wasn't very crowded on St. Patrick's Day 🍀 The atmosphere was surprisingly calm for the occasion, which allowed us to eat peacefully after all the hustle and bustle of the city. The service was incredible and the food exceeded expectations, really good burgers at a very reasonable price! 🍔 If you're visiting Dublin and enjoying the Irish pubs in the area, this is an excellent spot to eat. Coni was an amazing server 🥰

Great burger place with plenty of choices, menu cart can be a bit weird bc of the lack of explanation by the burgers. But nice atmosphere and service. A recommendation for the young and the elder
