20/09/2026: The Most Perfect Wedding Day at Errigal County House Hotel ❤️
We got married at Errigal County House Hotel last week, and honestly, I would do the whole day over and over again. From the moment we booked our wedding in November 2025 for September 2026, right through to the big day, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
As we had to organise everything through email and over the phone, having Niall there to guide us made such a huge difference. He was absolutely brilliant from the very beginning. He helped us secure our date, answered our endless questions (and there were plenty!), and even contacted local photographers and bands to check availability and help organise things on our behalf. It took so much stress out of the planning process.
When I travelled over in June to finalise everything, I finally got to meet Niall and the team in person. We had such a lovely time tasting the food, going through the plans and seeing the hotel properly for the first time. It made us even more excited for the wedding.
We arrived a few days before the wedding, and Niall and his team were already on hand, ready to take care of all those last-minute jobs and little details. At that point, I was able to completely let go and trust them. I went off to enjoy the night before and the morning of the wedding without having to worry about a thing.
When I finally walked downstairs on the morning of the wedding, I was completely blown away. The hotel looked absolutely incredible even better than I had imagined. Everything had been set up perfectly, and Niall had thought of every single detail. I genuinely didn’t have to worry about what needed to be done because he had it all under control.
One moment that really sums up how amazing he is was when I suddenly realised I hadn’t given him a photo frame of my grandparents that I wanted on the cake table. Without hesitation, Niall ran up to the bridal suite himself, collected it and brought it down so that I could have it included in my photos. It might seem like a small thing, but in the middle of such a busy and emotional day, it meant so much to me.
The whole day was simply perfect. The food, the hotel, the organisation, the atmosphere and, most importantly, the people all came together to create a day we will never forget.
Niall is an incredible owner and manager, and it’s clear how much pride and care he puts into making every wedding special. He has a fantastic team around him, and they genuinely go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect.
