05/04/2024: Very rude and unprofessional staff on a busy morning ignoring customers standing at till awaiting to pay

03/04/2024: The most disturbing and disgusting McDonalds experience we’ve ever had. The first Mcrestaurant where we aren’t allowed to have a glimpse at the making of the food as all of that section is hidden from us. The floor is dirty, the toilets are somewhere in the attic, you have to climb a lot of stairs and get a clausrophobic feeling while doing so. The food we received smelled rotten. Avoid this place at any cost if you can!!!

21/01/2024: Situated inside the supermarket, small but good. Didnt see any place to sit so mainly its a take out location. Parking space are available so you can enjog the meal peacefully inside your car. Single person handling from bill to cooking to packing so you will have to wait a bit. Not too crowded. Food was good.

28/03/2024: Very busy but very efficient staff. Good choice of food.

12/03/2024: Chips were very dry and definitely not freshly cooked.

31/03/2024: All the tables were dirty, trash was full and overflowing, and the food was dry. Worst one I've ever been in.

29/03/2024: This restaurant has a nice, formal atmosphere. You get 3 types of bread with butter as a free starter and the steak and salmon were cooked perfectly. The steak was well seasoned, perfect medium rare with the fat rendered nicely. It came with a small potato pave on the side (thinly sliced, layer potatoes). The salmon had a lovely crispy skin. The side of sweet potato fries was a good sized portion. I did however specifically ask for TAP water but the waitress proceeded to bring a bottle of still water which we were then charged for on our bill.

28/12/2023: We contracted horrific food poisoning from this restaurant. My partner and I ate the same meal and became violently ill for 2 days. Our family left a message with the restaurant staff who didn’t return our query to investigate the incident further, to prevent others from becoming ill. Nothing was done to forgive the horrible experience we had during our Christmas in Ireland. I sincerely hope it was a one off incident as we don’t wish for others to experience this.

02/04/2024: I accidentally left my card in the card machine after I placed an order. A wonderful worker named Kate went out of her way to find me and give my card back. I am very grateful for her help and I wish her the very best

17/03/2024: My 15 year old daughter and her friends were kicked out of Supermac’s by a rude employee for no reason. This is disgusting and I am very disappointed in this behaviour as they had bought food and was not making any noise or being disruptive, the employee came up asking is their an adult with them and as they are 15 and responsible to go to town on their own they replied saying no, the supermacs employee proceeded to tell them to get out and go out to the streets so they had to pick up the food they had bought and leave… I think your food is very nice but this is disgraceful carry on!!!!!!

19/03/2024: I went through the reviews and it may be that I had a bad day... the coxinha made with flour and water glue type dough and the woman serving with a friendly face, the wonderful coffee, I loved it, but I found it very little for the price, it was barely a finger of coffee , but very tasty.

04/04/2024: Availed of the delivery service which was prompt but the quality of the food was not what one would expect from Supermacs. I get that it wont be piping hot when being delivered but it was quite cold ( Im local in the town) and the quality of the burger and chips were sub par. Maybe eating in house is much better then again I might have got them on a bad day.

01/04/2024: Preparation was quick, quality typical MC standard. There was enough space too. Unfortunately, the lock on the toilet didn't work properly (replacement would be necessary) and the tables were mostly dirty.

31/03/2024: Manager at 00:30 on 31/03/2024 was incompetent and unable to fulfill my order. We were then instructed to use the machines after 20 mins waiting time.

18/03/2024: Manager named moira was very ignorant. Staff are lovely, Moria is not

25/02/2024: very unfriendly for foreigners, the service was horrible and made us very uncomfortable!! food was decent, nothing special, wouldn't recommend.

02/04/2024: Staff literally shouting at one another. Bad enough but I ordered food for my family, including a pepperoni pizza. The pizza arrived with no pepperoni on it. The rude staff member who took my order was uninterested and rude and said they can’t take it back as there were bites taken! I spoke to another person who said they made a mistake and they would make another. Never arrived. When I approached a person who acted like a manager accused me of telling lies and that the pepperoni was under the cheese. My kids were unnerved by the whole thing but staff didn’t care and blamed us. Uninterested, terrible atmosphere and staff. I would never bring children into this simply awful place. UPDATE: corporate Supermac’s emailed me for more details but ultimately didn’t believe me. This added insult to injury. They obviously do not care about their customers. Shame on an Irish business. Don’t engage with them if they approach you. Disgraceful.

11/02/2024: First time ever eating at a supermac's. Let's just say if you ever feel like you want a burger or something else on there menu, I would definitely recommend coming here. They even do fish and chips at the time of this post. So great when visiting cobh.

30/03/2024: Something is going with the food. THE TASTE OF THE CHICKEN is very strange. It has a chemical taste. It is only in this Macdonald, Very weird. Be carefully when you order chicken in this place.
