01/12/2025: If you are tired of paying a lot for small quantities of not even good food this is your place, they are generous, not that expensive and an enjoyable meal. Appreciate to see a place where you don't get scammed either by the food quantity, quality or price

20/11/2025: Burger beef rock hard couldn’t finish it, chips with cold cheese not for me for that reason my food 0 stars, friend chicken nice and curry chips was ok soo 2 stars, also those tiny plates for burgers, better give nothing.

La única deducción se debió al hecho de que estábamos sentados cerca de la puerta y teníamos una brisa fría cada vez que abría. Debido a la comida fabulosa que era bastante a menudo como costumbre era rápido

05/01/2026: Got my wow burger order wrong,put my burger in the same bag as a milkshake,all the food was freezing cold,first manager I spoke too was nice and gave me store credit for the next day,when I rang to redeem the credit the next evening a female manager answered(I don’t know her name) she never asked my order or what it was and I asked how she would know what to make, her response was “ because you’re the only person who’s made a complaint about our food “ … I collected the food because she wouldn’t deliver it to me, had all her staff standing at the counter when I got into captain Americas Blanchardstown ( I assume to intimidate me),then last but not least,they gave me another freezing cold order which I assume was out of spite because of her reluctance to give me the credit on the phone call

28/12/2025: Not a fan of the new menu, most of the things I went here for are now gone from it. They also seem to have done away with plates and replaced them with trays and paper. This just doesn’t work when they serve an enchilada on it that you have to cut. Because of the sauce and cutting, the paper ends up turning to mush and I spent half the time trying not to eat it.

19/01/2026: Surprised by the low average rating. We got great service here. Owner/manager talked us through the gluten free options before we were seated. Wife enjoyed the veggie Burger. It was probably the best steak sandwich I've had. Every bit of beef was tender compared with some places that give you poor pieces of meat. Staff were friendly and service was quick. Great location in center of Galway.

06/01/2026: First impressions: My Girlfriend and I had dinner in Beef and Lobster whilst I visited Galway. On entering the property the restaurant wasn't exactly stand out in terms of décor, its very basic. Service: I made a reservation online using the website for 18:00. Upon arrival we were greeted promptly and shown to our table which was ready for us. Once sat, we were offered the drinks menu and offered a bottle of water for the table. Although not on the menu we opted for a mocktail "pornstar Martini" as the waitress suggested they could accommodate that. Service, food and drink delivery was very prompt. Food: Drink: We both opted for the "pornstar martini" mocktail which Looked great on arrival, garnished with a passionfruit. It was a good mocktail, close to the real thing, but more like just a passionfruit drink instead of a passion fruit martini, It lacked any vanilla. Starters: For starter we had the Pork belly and the surf and turf tacos. The pork was cooked well and tasted delicious paired with the accompanying sauce. The surf and turf tacos, although presentation was a little underwhelming tasted really good. Mains: For main course we ordered a 16oz bone in ribeye and a surf and turf with prawns. The 16oz ribeye was ordered rare, it arrive well cooked however the quality of the meat was not great, very tough and difficult to cut even with a steak knife. The striploin served with the surf and turf however was a beautiful piece of meat, cooked perfectly rare. a nice serving of prawns in garlic butter to accompany, not to my tasting however my girlfriend enjoyed them. For sides we opted for three for 15.75 : rocket salad with balsamic and parmesan - good sized portion and tasted great garlic baguette - baguette was sliced and covered in garlic, however the slices were not opened and garlic inside, it was mainly over the top of the baguette which was disappointing, and parmesan and truffle fries - crispy fries and tasted good. Atmosphere: The restaurant was quiet with a few tables around. the décor was underwhelming and not really inspiring. there seemed to be no real theme to the restaurant décor. On a Friday night there was no real atmosphere, it felt less like a restaurant and more like a café people were grabbing a quick bite. Final notes: I'm glad I have tried it, it wasn't bad, however I probably wont rush back as I'm sure there are better steak options elsewhere in the area.

15/10/2024: Really nice brunch here, food came quickly and was super filling. I was surprised that they only had filter coffee but it was also quite tasty so no issues. Prices do let them down as I was really shocked to be charged €4 for each small cup of black coffee, that is more than you would pay for a cappuccino or latte in some places. I would still come back to try something else as the food was really good! But the price of the coffee left a sour taste in my mouth, €4 for a tiny cup of black coffee was a surprise and not nice to feel you have been ripped off.

12/01/2026: Twice now we've ordered and it hasn't came, first time it was cancelled after an hour. This time it wasn't even cancelled but over 2 hours had passed so we had to request a refund. Seems like they can't handle the influx of just eat orders, should just not accept orders from just eat if its unable to be delivered. Won't be ordering again.

12/12/2025: Good quality fish and chips, as well as some pizza options, such as vegetarian and pepperoni. The place is quite expensive, €20 for fish and chips, which is understandable considering the cost of living there, but not for the portion size. The staff's service could be much better, and at times they were overly attentive when entering the PIN on the card reader (suspiciously, the contactless wasn't working). They're the kind of fixed kiosks you can't touch to protect your PIN. We didn't like what happened. Nor did we appreciate waiting over 30 minutes to be served. It's located away from the main pedestrian area, so the atmosphere in this area is less touristy, and you can find "all sorts" of places. Not recommended unless you go during the day, pay in cash, and order takeaway.

24/01/2026: Ordered from Uber eats. 2 items missing from order. The burger and the tenders so only received chips and drinks. We got refunded by Uber just jeeze these guys genuinely can't get delivery orders right. It's not just one supermacs franchise. It's every supermacs in Galway city. Moral of the story, don't order for delivery.

22/02/2026: I’ve been here a few times and it’s just not up to par with other joints under the same brand of supermacs I got a quarter pounder and my gf got chicken burger and she got send the grilled version and no sauces whatsoever after a 15 minute wait which is extremely slow and when we sent back the burger it’s been 20 minutes as I sit here now and no sign of it manager walked off it’s not a great experience cork road is the place to go or anywhere else unfortunately as I usually like supermacs

15/02/2026: I just ordered delivery from this Supermacs. I ordered the Goujon meal and a pizza for a friend. Not only was the food cold, it was late and the goujons might be the worst I've ever eaten. I could only compare thee to a chicken goujon hopelessly abandoned in a deli all day. They were cold and hard. Honestly, I'd have to ring belvedere dentist in the morning to get a new set of teeth it was such a struggle to down it. I only review on special occasions and this is certainly a special occasion of absolute crap. 16 euro for goujons, a mini chip(literally 12 chips), and a bottle of coke cause whoever working obviously wants to go home early and cleaned the machine. Never again.

25/10/2025: The food was good, and the prices are reasonable. The quality of the food here seems a bit higher than other fast food options. If you have a larger group, there is an upstairs dining area (it was closed when I was there for dinner). My only real complaint was that the wait time for the food seemed a bit long. I believe I was waiting for about 20+ minutes, and there were people waiting for even more time that had already ordered before I arrived.

12/10/2025: Who is this manager type person who stands around either at the counter or is filling her lungs with nicotine on the street ? She is the perfect example of how not to lead or manage the without exception great staff behind the counter Arrogant, condescending and dismissive are descriptors that come to mind . Maybe a few secret shopper visits are due here The staff need help not barking at.

03/08/2025: Should just close it at this stage. Asked for a chicken kebab and normally you'd expect salad and the trimings but no such luck. As dry as cardboard, just chopped up bits of chicken thrown into a cold, limp pitta and not as much as an ounce of flavour. Very disappointing. The girl at the counter barely said thanks and the rest of the staff seemed like they had no interest being there. Nowhere near worth the €25 price. Been going for years but from now on I'll take my chances elsewhere.

11/07/2025: 4 years ago I got the worst food poisoning of my life from Antonellis. I hadn't stepped foot in the place since until today. Ordered 2 fish and chips. One fish looked like a battered fish and the other looked like it was begging to be put out of it's misery. It had been cooked more than once and tasted disgusting. I ate a small bit, struggling to even chew it and I have not felt well since. This place seriously needs to be inspected. Lesson learned, never again will I eat here again.

05/11/2025: We were there on holiday. We ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries and a kid's cheeseburger. We didn't have to wait long for the food. It was very tasty. Unfortunately, there's no customer restroom, which is quite useful if you're staying longer or want to wash your hands after eating. All in all, though, we were very satisfied.

05/01/2026: Brilliant staff very helpful my bugger ended up inside out somehow these things happen. Took it back and was straight away replaced with no questions absolutely brilliant one very happy customer. And after the day I had they were very accommodating so thankyou.

18/12/2025: 20 minutes waiting. Milkshake was melted / not even cold - rude staff said it wasnt ice cream and should be . Food cold and stale

02/12/2025: The kiosk machines are missing the till rolls to print the receipt. I used a company card and need a receipt for tax purposes. A Indian looking man in a red shirt promised me to get me a receipt, but he just trow my order number on the bin and walked away. I waited some time and 2 people where trying to sort out the recipt but with no success. Eventually the manager came (nice young man, had nice manners) and finally sorted the problem and i got thr receipt. It should no be this difficult.
