18/12/2025: Stopped by there after my dentist appointment up in town, supermacs is always my favourite fast food place and you're supporting an irish-owned company Great choice of food (burgers, chicken, pizza, rolls, dessert) Don't expect Gordon Ramsey type stuff but it's great value for money

15/10/2025: Called here during the week and got a 5 Tenders meal with Gravy and a Kids Popcorn Chicken meal. It's fair to say they do good chicken and gravy here. Portion size was also very good, For me Hillbillies is the best chicken in Cork but this is up their, well worth a try if you like Fried Chicken and Gravy 👍

05/01/2026: Got my wow burger order wrong,put my burger in the same bag as a milkshake,all the food was freezing cold,first manager I spoke too was nice and gave me store credit for the next day,when I rang to redeem the credit the next evening a female manager answered(I don’t know her name) she never asked my order or what it was and I asked how she would know what to make, her response was “ because you’re the only person who’s made a complaint about our food “ … I collected the food because she wouldn’t deliver it to me, had all her staff standing at the counter when I got into captain Americas Blanchardstown ( I assume to intimidate me),then last but not least,they gave me another freezing cold order which I assume was out of spite because of her reluctance to give me the credit on the phone call

28/12/2025: Not a fan of the new menu, most of the things I went here for are now gone from it. They also seem to have done away with plates and replaced them with trays and paper. This just doesn’t work when they serve an enchilada on it that you have to cut. Because of the sauce and cutting, the paper ends up turning to mush and I spent half the time trying not to eat it.

28/12/2025: Ordered for collection and went in and paid. Waited 30mins before going up to inquire where my food was as the place did seem busy. They first said my pizza was made without a topping and they were going to remake it. When I said I would take it as is as I didn’t have any more time to wait, they said the pizza had not even been made. Really disappointing. This is the second time this has happened to me this year from that branch.

18/12/2025: Got a Pizza for my girls here as a sneaky treat when we went to Waterford for the weekend, they were absolutely slammed busy ( always a good sign) but when we went back to collect order food was beautiful, no cut corners just because they were busy. It was my girls first time ever trying PAPA JoHNs and they loved it. Well done , keep up the great work.

06/01/2026: First impressions: My Girlfriend and I had dinner in Beef and Lobster whilst I visited Galway. On entering the property the restaurant wasn't exactly stand out in terms of décor, its very basic. Service: I made a reservation online using the website for 18:00. Upon arrival we were greeted promptly and shown to our table which was ready for us. Once sat, we were offered the drinks menu and offered a bottle of water for the table. Although not on the menu we opted for a mocktail "pornstar Martini" as the waitress suggested they could accommodate that. Service, food and drink delivery was very prompt. Food: Drink: We both opted for the "pornstar martini" mocktail which Looked great on arrival, garnished with a passionfruit. It was a good mocktail, close to the real thing, but more like just a passionfruit drink instead of a passion fruit martini, It lacked any vanilla. Starters: For starter we had the Pork belly and the surf and turf tacos. The pork was cooked well and tasted delicious paired with the accompanying sauce. The surf and turf tacos, although presentation was a little underwhelming tasted really good. Mains: For main course we ordered a 16oz bone in ribeye and a surf and turf with prawns. The 16oz ribeye was ordered rare, it arrive well cooked however the quality of the meat was not great, very tough and difficult to cut even with a steak knife. The striploin served with the surf and turf however was a beautiful piece of meat, cooked perfectly rare. a nice serving of prawns in garlic butter to accompany, not to my tasting however my girlfriend enjoyed them. For sides we opted for three for 15.75 : rocket salad with balsamic and parmesan - good sized portion and tasted great garlic baguette - baguette was sliced and covered in garlic, however the slices were not opened and garlic inside, it was mainly over the top of the baguette which was disappointing, and parmesan and truffle fries - crispy fries and tasted good. Deserts: Atmosphere: The restaurant was quite with a few tables around. the décor was underwhelming and not really inspiring. there seemed to be no real theme to the restaurant décor. On a Friday night there was no real atmosphere, it felt less like a restaurant and more like a café people were grabbing a quick bite. Final notes: I'm glad I have tried it, it wasn't bad, however I probably wont rush back as I'm sure there are better steak options elsewhere in the area.

03/01/2026: It left something to be desired… the taste was there, but the portions were lacking. You'll have to pay €6 to have fries on your side. The final bill was high. On the other hand, the build-your-own cheesecake was fantastic.

22/11/2025: At this point I'm a regular at Supermacs as it is my go to place for a burger and chips. With that being said, one day when it was delivered we were missing chips and every other day that we ordered from the app but went inside to collect, we either did not have one of two drinks or no forks given. Honestly that was grand, I could get over that because I love your taco fries and chicken breast sandwich. But after what happened yesterday? No, I won't be returning to this place. 21/11/2025 at around 5pm, I and my partner went inside and ordered. The order was two large/max chicken breast sandwich meals with taco fries, water and a fanta. I am an overthinker so I made sure to do the math on your app beforehand. The total normally would be €31.40 but I had a coupon of €2 making it €29.40 which is what I paid at the counter. Upon receiving the order I looked through the bag which had a receipt attached (I wasn't given one at the till) and I noticed that 1. There was only one taco fries and it was a medium 2. There was a small bag of plain fries 3. The fanta was a medium. I checked the receipt and found that it did have the correct food items on it that I said at the counter, but it was labelled as regular instead of max/large. The price however was still €29.40 like it was from my previous calculation. I thought it was just a mistake so I went to the counter. There was an older man, in a different shirt to everyone else so I'm assuming he is a manager. When I pointed out the mistakes he was incredibly rude to me and spoke loudly for everyone else to hear. He simply wouldn't listen to what I was saying. When I mentioned the plain chips, he jabbed at my receipt and loudly said "plain chips" as if that is what it said but it did not. When I showed the app on my phone where it said the price of the max meal, he said "that's a regular " again, no it was not. He then preceded to grab the plain chips from my bag and say "okay I'll give you one large taco fries". This man spoke to me like he was doing me a favor? I was shocked silent and left embarrassed as everyone was looking and heard the exchange where he made me look like an utter idiot who was just causing a fuss. He also took my receipt with him as he walked away. Well thank you Supermacs, despite my love for your food, if I end up crying in a car after a takeaway I think it's the wrong place to go.

10/06/2025: We have used the Gourmet Parlour on a number of occasions for outside catering, never disappoints. Catherine and staff are always on the ball. Would definitely recommend.

03/08/2025: Should just close it at this stage. Asked for a chicken kebab and normally you'd expect salad and the trimings but no such luck. As dry as cardboard, just chopped up bits of chicken thrown into a cold, limp pitta and not as much as an ounce of flavour. Very disappointing. The girl at the counter barely said thanks and the rest of the staff seemed like they had no interest being there. Nowhere near worth the €25 price. Been going for years but from now on I'll take my chances elsewhere.

11/07/2025: 4 years ago I got the worst food poisoning of my life from Antonellis. I hadn't stepped foot in the place since until today. Ordered 2 fish and chips. One fish looked like a battered fish and the other looked like it was begging to be put out of it's misery. It had been cooked more than once and tasted disgusting. I ate a small bit, struggling to even chew it and I have not felt well since. This place seriously needs to be inspected. Lesson learned, never again will I eat here again.
