21/08/2025: Husband had the Guinness stew, which was great. I had the salmon, which was very good but bland. I did not like seafood chowder, it was too fishy.

03/08/2025: Had a meal here one year ago and the service was so bad it ruined my finacee birthday celebration was comvinced by the new manager to go back and they would look after us so we did tonight only to be met by terrible service again. Left sitting at our table for 15 minutes before any member of staff came to to us and then had to ask for kids menu Steaks oredered and 2 of the 4 were very over cooked my MR tommahawk was borderline well done sent it back along with an overcooked ribeye my finacee ordered a glass of wine that never arrived dispite numerous times of asking wont be back shame because the steak was nice the 2nd time it came out

13/08/2025: Visited for lunch yesterday around 3pm while in Limerick city. Food is above average, service is not. The 10 euro lunch menu is good value in the current climate. The food came out quickly and was tasty however the service we received was not. Our food arrived after around 10 minutes of waiting but our drinks did not. We were sitting outside and trying to catch the attention of waitress outside proved impossible. When we eventually got her attention she nonchalantly said our drinks were on the way and returned to avoiding as many tables with customers as she could. It appeared as though we were inconveniencing her by asking this. Our drinks eventually arrived after around 30 minutes as I was finishing my food with no apology on the delay. I then asked the waitress who brought the drinks for some mayo which arrived five minutes later as I had four chips left on my plate. Not ideal We were not asked once if everything was OK with the meal or if we needed anything throughout our visit. Again, as I went up to pay there was no ask of how everything was. Not usually one to post bad reviews but this is the poorest service I have received while eating out. The restaurant was also not busy while we visited so there really was no excuse for the extremely poor service we received. Would not recommend to a friend

11/08/2025: The restaurant looks fine and the service seemed okay at first, but unfortunately the dishes were inedible. We ordered a super salad specifically because it included chickpeas, but what we got were hard, uncooked balls that could easily break your teeth. Clearly, someone forgot the basic culinary knowledge that chickpeas need to be soaked and cooked before serving. When we pointed it out, we received a mocking response: “Well, that’s chickpeas, isn’t it?” and that was it. no any compensation. An absolute disgrace.

07/06/2025: Went for lunch with my 97 year old mum and my sister . It certainly is a 5 star restaurant with excellent food, and amazing staff. If you haven’t been you need to check it out ❤️

24/05/2025: I have eaten in this restaurant several times when I visit from London. Sadly the quality of the food is very poor.? Has the chef changed? I had chicken fillet burger. The batter was dark brown and rock hard. The chips are frozen and there was a tasteless limp salad on the side. Very disappointing.

19/08/2025: Mi joven amigo y yo fuimos a Supermac esta noche. Como siempre la comida era deliciosa! Nos atendió una pequeña mujer joven de pelo oscuro y ella no podía hacer lo suficiente por nosotros. Fui una segunda vez por helados y para pedir una comida para llevar para mi marido y ella insistió en traer todo a nosotros, comprobando si me gustaría una recarga en el té que había comprado antes. El personal agradable hace toda la diferencia, disfruto de la comida supermac, el personal encantador es una gran ventaja. Además sirven el mejor té en Carlow - té de desayuno bewleys. Supermac, siempre disfruto de mi visita y este Supermacs en particular es mi favorito 😍.

19/08/2025: Had a great Tuesday night experience at this restaurant. Had Tagliata because the pasta wasn’t gluten free but wasn’t disappointed at all. Attentive service and great atmosphere until closure!

13/07/2025: Excellent food. I've eaten here 20+ times. Never a bad dish. It's flavour and it's a takeaway. There are a few stools at the window to sit and eat. Everyone seems to flood this location and with good reason. If you are fussy about chicken and you want excellent quality make sure you hit up the breat in bun range.
