03/03/2025: This was our second time coming to this restaurant, and once again, it was an amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was very welcoming and comfortable. This time, we came to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday, and the staff made it extra special. They even wrote “Happy Birthday” on his dessert, which was such a thoughtful touch! A big thank you to Andre, who provided excellent service, so friendly, and made sure everything was perfect. We will definitely be coming back again!

25/02/2025: I was expecting so much from this place based on review. Food tasted good. We didn't have to wait too long for it. Deserts were average and not so many options. Overall I would not be back.

23/02/2025: Real relaxed restaurant Food was top tier We got a table where we could see our steak been cooked, it was great, Staff were exceptional and very welcoming and I even got some cake for my birthday 🎂 I would highly recommend this steak house to anyone and we will definitely be back

02/03/2025: Only writing this review as the last 2/3 times we went were not good. We used to love this place but it has sadly gone way down hill. They must of changed quite a bit or maybe new owners or something, the old menu was better looking also. The online order system is confusing and a pain as you order and pay for something then they tell you the machine for making the milkshakes is “broken” which was the same story as last time? When i actually love the chocolate milkshake and it was one of the main reasons we travelled down. The chips used to be much better thinner and crispier, bigger portion, cheaper and you could get a nicer melted cheese sauce and grated cheese on them. The cheese sauce this time was watery and scarce. Burgers were nice. They do a really good veggie burger which is hard to get but you can be guaranteed there will always be atleast 1 topping you pick missing happened every time I’ve been and this time it was pickles. Usually quite a wait but on this occasion was quite quick as it wasn’t too busy. Overall just very overpriced for what it is especially now. Sad to see a place that we once loved and quality was so good we would travel a bit to go just get so bad. Won’t be bothered returning. On a good note staff we’re friendly!

21/02/2025: The burger is beautiful but it has absolutely no flavor, no salt, no taste at all. Other than that the online order system allows the user to order combo with beer but in fact it's not possible to have a beer for a take away order. Sorry, but I don't want to spend another €40 for a bad experience.

10/12/2024: This year we chose The Embassy for our Christmas work meal. An excellent choice! We went for the €49 euro Christmas Menu which was excellent value. The service was impeccable. The surroundings were cosy, comfortable and the restaurant had a lovely Christmas feel to it. The complimentary bread and dips are delicious. The food was perfect. The turkey and ham dinner was excellent and there were large dishes of roast vegetables too. We all literally rolled out of the place so full! Looking forward to going back with family. A wonderful night had by all.

11/03/2025: Best late night slice of pizza in Dublin! My go to on a night out. Once overcharged me €68.50 instead of €8.50 but they were very quick to issue a refund. Cannot recommend enough

07/03/2025: Good New York style pizza, the slice is quite substantial. You can get two if you are really hungry. Service is quick. It is no longer a cheap option though, like everything the prices have gone up. They should write descriptions of the pizza slices on the little name cards. It can be difficult to tell what is on the pizza, the names are just made up NY themed things.

16/03/2025: The Railway Tavern never disappoints. It's classy and cozy at once, with a gorgeous ambience and atmosphere. My kids love watching the chef work at the huge grill. Food is spectacular, perfectly portioned and beautifully presented. Steaks were sublime and perfectly cooked. Kids' menu is brilliant and the cabbage side is a highlight. Staff are friendly and attentive. Already looking forward to our next visit.

16/03/2025: Don’t buy a gift voucher. Our experience was ruined by the verification needed for a gift voucher. We had a digital voucher which appears to be suspicious and according to staff easily copied’. We had to email the manager the original voucher and were left standing in a busy bar like criminals waiting for judgement. It was a humiliating experience which ruined an otherwise beautiful evening.

17/02/2025: Called to Trinity quarter yesterday late afternoon (the 16th) and have to say, the food and service was fantastic.. got the roast beef and definitely was the nicest I had in years. So tender. I had mine with chips and no gravy and it wasn't a problem. The staff were so friendly. I didn't catch their names sorry..but every one of them was gorgeous. Prices very reasonable too. We didn't have a table booked and they fitted us in too. Will definitely return.

05/03/2025: Food is good, but salad served in a dish which it was impossible to cut it in without the food escaping out the opposite side. We were told by door staff that the restaurant closed at 12 but were then given 5 minutes to finish our food at 10.55.
