DiFontaine’s is one of those Dublin places that has stayed consistently good for years. I first came here back in 2015 after being told it was one of the best pizzas in Ireland, and honestly, ten years later, I still think that was fair. It is not trying to be traditional Italian pizza, and that is exactly the point. It has its own New York-style identity: huge slices, proper flavour, quick service, and that late-night Dublin/Temple Bar feel that just works. I have ended up here a few times over the years after nights out, but even sober and just passing by, it still hits the same. Most recently I got two huge slices and a Coke for takeaway, then ended up sitting outside on Parliament Street because I could not wait until I got home. The portions are generous, the price is still reasonable for the city centre, and the pizza is genuinely satisfying. A Dublin classic for me. Simple, reliable, filling, and seriously good.

Wish they had more seating area but the pizza itself was amazing. Nice big slice and so tasty. I had the vegan one and I already can't wait to go back. This was the best vegan pizza in my opinion.

Absolutely brilliant pizza, cannot praise it enough. Staff however were extremely rushed and rude to customers. The pizza makes up for it but a note for improvement:)

Chaotic store, but fun. Pizza too expensive for what it is.

13 years ago when I arrived in Ireland this pizzeria was the first place I was brought to have a middle of the night pizza! I went back a few times since and I must say that their pizza is still outstanding and affordable.
