The Butterbean Restaurant in Carndonagh

Very good restaurant. I had Vegetable Enchillada with a side of onion rings, it was exquisite and fulfilling.

Spent 4 days in Ireland - and we ended up eating here all 4 days. Super delicious food, good and friendly service. We were 9 people and tasted many different dishes. Everything was delicious.

Nice place to stop for a bite to eat and reasonably priced. We are the chicken Maryland and fish and chips, the food was delicious 😋

Restaurant review only. I had 3 nights in Carndonagh and had dinner every night at The Butterbean. All 3 nights I had a special and all 3 were fantastic. Salmon over stir-fry noodles was my favorite - perfectly cooked with a perfect sauce. Pasta with a tomato-cream sauce with chorizo was also excellent. Finally monkfish with a butter-leek sauce over asparagus and other vegetables was expertly cooked and very refined - delightful. I can't recommend this place enough - it was the best food of my entire trip.
