Had a great experience at the Coach House at the weekend. Terrific atmosphere on Sat for the champions league final, then had a superb meal on Sunday. My wife and Aunt had roast beef and I had the beef curry, meat was cooked to perfection. Very attentive bar and waitress staff, and cracking pint of Krombacher. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone passing through or staying in Balinteer!

Nice furnishings, good lay out. Nice beer garden. Great menu, loads to choose from. Food okay, pepper sauce was awful, chips not great, quite expensive for what I got. Service good.

Fab Sunday lunch in The Coach House Pub in Ballinteer (5 min. drive from Dundrum shopping centre). They have a new menu with lots of gluten free options, including a carvery on a Sunday. No gluten free chips but the mash and roast potatoes were hot and delicious, as was the roast beef and veg. I had Eaton mess (meringue, cream, ice-cream and berries) for dessert. Very tasty. I wanted to give them a shout-out because it was such a positive experience. Everyone in my family was happy with their food as well. P.S. No photo because I ate it too quickly 😉

01/10/2026: Had such a lovely experience at Eddie Rocket’s! The food was really good, the atmosphere was great, but what really stood out was the amazing service. A huge thank you to Vanessa, our waitress! She was honestly one of the nicest and most polite people I’ve come across in customer service. She was super friendly, welcoming, attentive and always had a lovely attitude. She made us feel really comfortable and looked after us so well throughout the whole visit. Vanessa genuinely deserves recognition for how well she treats customers. Please give this girl a raise! 😂 She is so polite, super nice and clearly puts a lot of effort into making sure customers have a great experience. Employees like her are exactly what makes people want to come back. Management should definitely know how much of a positive impact she has. Massive thanks to Vanessa for making our visit even better! ❤️ I’ll definitely be coming back to Eddie Rocket’s!
26/09/2026: A warm and inviting restaurant with lovely staff, all set in a retro American diner decor, and with great music to boot. I highly recommend it.

08/09/2026: Came here on a Sunday evening and found the waitress was very helpful and accommodating, seated us outside as we had a dog with us. Got pizzas and shared prawns, pizzas were grand, perfectly acceptable and the prawns were tasty albeit very expensive for 5 of them at 17 quid. Nice fews from location, a pleasant experience
