Token in Dublin

Genuinely a great spot, the city felt the loss when the original location closed but the new location is just as good if not better. None of its character or atmosphere was lost in the move of the location. All the games on site will bring back pure nostalgia for anyone who has even dabbled in arcade/home gaming in their youth. If you want to get on the wall of fame you better bring your A game though!

We played games for over an hour with 2 adults and a twelve year old for just 20€. I loved seeing lots of Games from my youth and the kid was fascinated trying out those old pixel games from ancient times ;) we had a great time, totally recommend for families.

Very cool hang out, friendly staff and great arcade atmosphere. If you like flippers and arcade games this is your place.

I love the idea. I bar of classic arcade games with drinks and food. Its still very new and in Beta so there are a few quirks that need to be worked out: First its currently so busy you can only get in by being on the wait list. Even when I was on it I had to wait outside for a few minutes. The fact its so busy right now does highlight a few design flaws. The seating is sort of crammed in between walls and games, your tables are getting bumped by people trying to get by. I think in the future they might have to move to more booth like seating, or maybe move the games to the outer walls. The tables weren't clean, I think the staff just couldn't keep up on the Friday night when visited. The staff themselves were all very nice, and friendly. The games were good value, the price of drinks wasn't too outrageous. But I think they could work on the restaurant part a little - it comes across more like a canteen. I think it will all adjust with time. They just need to bare in mind that when people are done standing to play games they may want more space to chill, drink and chat. I'm excited to see how it all goes, and I still definitely recommend checking it out.

I am a long time client of the Token, since their previous Smithfield address. The new IFSC location is really handy near the Mayor Square Luas station and the old tokens remain valid. There is a big game selection ( arcades, darts, donkey Kong, packman etc ) and the food is really nice and in big portions. The bar is always super busy and you often have a cocktail special. I aso been to their private karaoke rooms upstairs that have a big music selection and are spacious. Overall a very fun place to go in Dublin City center if you like to play games and sing, specially with friends or Team outings :)
