Porterhouse in Killarney

Great place. The atmosphere is fantastic. Dining at high tables with wooden and glass dividers is very original. I recommend booking because there's a long queue at peak times. The fish and chips are great, the ribs are delicious. And the apple pie with ice cream and custard is the best dessert I've ever had. If you can, come.

Although there was a long queue at first and we waited 20 minutes, it was worth the wait to try the dishes. We ordered the classic fish and chips, and the chicken burger with bacon and red onion. Everything was quick once we were seated. I really enjoyed it.

Wow, it was really good!! There was a lot of food, which was great because I'm tired of restaurants where you're not full at the end. The cauliflower wings were good, and the fries with vegan mozzarella were good too. It's great when there are lots of vegan options and they're well thought out instead of just being a random salad. As a descendant of the official Bru Borù, I recommend this place.

Excellent steak and fish & chips. Very good atmosphere - an actual restaurant with a nicely smaller bar area.

The food was excellent and plentiful - even though the place was buzzing on the Friday night ahead of The Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle Ride, we were quickly found a booth. The service was quick and personable, even though they were so busy we felt well looked after. Booking is essential.

What an amazing restaurant the food is outstanding the weight staff was amazing I must give a shout out to William he's fantastic Would definitely go back to this restaurant again try the cheese board

Excellent restaurant. Use it anytime I am in Killarney. Busy July August and think you are best to book a table so that you are not disappointed.

Very warm welcome and friendly atmosphere

Porterhouse fit us in for a late dinner for 6, and the service was wonderful. All of our meals were high quality and generous serves - perfect for hungry travellers. The venue is authentically Irish which added to the experience

Wonderful place to eat in Killarney. Service was excellent, the food was top notch, and the cozy tables are different but I quite enjoyed the atmosphere. Gets pretty busy at peak dinner hours.
