Son of a Bun in Cork

Have you ever taken a bite of a burger and wanted to cry actual tears of joy at how good it was ? This was my experience in Son of a Bun. Staff were great too, can imagine it's the best burger in Cork.

I was here before and always loved their food. I love your Milkshakes. The Mac and Cheese is scrumptious 😋

I did 2 for 2 here for dinner. Informal environment, pleasant music, soft lights like in a pub. Fast and attentive staff, quick and precise service. The beers on tap are few but excellent, and they have some that they rotate. Really excellent sandwiches, real bread, excellent meat, good combinations. If you take the fried foods as an "appetizer", choose the chicken with the special mayi. The warm brownie with ice cream is too good.

So I was there for the third time now. Am from Germany and one of the reasons I visited Ireland again was to go to sun of a bun! It is the best burger I have ever had. The atmosphere is amazing with a good taste of music and the service is excellent. Really nothing at all to complain about. Hope to be there soon again :)

We love SOB - the food is fab, staff are attentive to your needs and overall it is a wonderful place to grab a bite to eat. The only complaint is it is a little too dark in there and the music is WAY too loud (I know its designed to get people moving out of the tables, but it is quite loud!)

Ordered a basic Burger with Fries and honestly blew my mind how good it was, possibly the best burger I've had in my life. The fries were fresh and crunchy outside soft and fluffy inside. If you're in Cork this place is a must to visit and while I didn't go for the burger of the month they have creative options for that if you feel adventurous. 10/10 100% recommend.
