02/04/2024: One of the best experiences I've had in a restaurant anywhere I've ever been. Pork belly starter was the best pork belly I've tasted. The tasting tray of beer came with very knowledgeable explanations of the different beers and what they taste best with. The ribeye and lamb we had that was cooked right in front of us in the wood fire was cooked to perfection. Even the chips were just better than you get most places. The cocktails were also excellent. Possibly the best ribeye steak I've ever had, definitely the best service and staff I've experienced in Ireland.

28/03/2024: It is with sincere regret that I leave this review. My wife has been a huge supporter of Paradiso for over 30 years. As a long term vegetarian Cafe Paradiso was her food refuge, she introduced so many people to this establishment over the years, me included. My wife has a peculiar food allergy that was never a problem before and as usual she called ahead to alert the restaurant. Unfortunately on this occasion it was a problem. The proprietor simply did not want to know, my wife's food allergy could not be accommodated, no apology, no excuse....that's it....***k you customer..... She was devastated, it was like a death in the family. Maybe DC was just having a bad day? She doesn't know I've left this review, she would not want me to do this as she had such good times (and friends) there, I simply cannot let it go as she was so upset.

04/04/2024: The restaurant is very well located. The food is good but good without anything remarkable and that will make you come back. Better to reserve because it fills up. We ordered a drink per person and an individual dish and it cost €22.5. What is a detail is that they serve you water without asking for it.

04/04/2024: Had an excellent experience here on a work dinner for c.20 people. The waitress was truly exceptional, managing a slightly bullish group really well, never seeming flustered despite all of our odd requests and always keeping her sense of humour! I’m just sorry I’ve forgotten her name. Thanks for a great dinner

24/03/2024: My current favourite cafe in Cork, loads of vegan options between wraps, soup, and cakes. Coffee is good but they have loads of drinks that you wouldn’t find in other places that are more worth trying (turmeric latte is really good, and they also have a ton of loose leaf teas). There’s a lovely vibe in there always, staff are very kind and accommodating, lots of books and instruments and things available to borrow. There’s always such a chilled atmosphere here, between the cool artwork and good music - there’s often people having music sessions outside Probably the best place in Cork to find a sense of community🌀🌀
