24/03/2025: What a lovely surprise! I discovered the cafe yesterday for a quick snack and I have been more than delighted by the experience! I was not hungry enough so just took some chips (amazing!) and a croissant which was delicious. I will definitely come back to try the veggie or vegan breakfast 😋. Jane is so nice and warm and very attentive to people’s experience. Thanks again!

24/05/2025: Had a retirement evening tonight at this truly fabulous restaurant!! What a superb meal,the food ,the service,the staff, Richard the manager and his staff were absolutely fantastic!!! Love the menu here,so fresh and delicious,great portions too,thanks again,will be back!!!

15/05/2025: We went here for our anniversary dinner, it was delicious we had a great experience. The cocktails were next level exquisite, i was driving and they accommodated my no alcohol request perfectly. All the cocktails are made to request as I was able to order any of the cocktails as mocktails. I ordered the pornstar martini and they even served me a shot of lemonade! My partner enjoyed normal cocktails and reported they were amazing. For dinner I ordered the sundries tomato cannelloni which wasn’t my favourite but still nice. My partner ordered the salmon which was cooked perfectly. We ordered a side of mashed potatoes which were creamy and delicious. Desert was equally delicious and the staff surprised us with a candle for our anniversary. Overall it was well worth the price.

14/05/2025: Nearly impossible to get a helpful or useful interaction. Or a clear and direct answer. I’ll transfer you to another department, who will tell you to email some other department, or to look on the website, it has everything. Emails take ages to get a response, are less than helpful, and usually a repeat of the above. Seriously, if the website had all the information that a person needed, no one would be calling or emailing. Absolutely ridiculous to think that all information can be answered digitally. There will always be questions that need actual conversations to talk through until there is an understanding because the person asking is coming from a different perspective or culture and something doesn’t make sense.

10/05/2025: Estafa absoluta - Me avergonzaría servir lo que tengo hoy si tuviera un restaurante. El bocadillo de shawarma que pedí estaba añadiendo 1, 50 € al precio de la comida (que ya es bastante caro ya que todo es a base de plantas, y las únicas bebidas incluidas en la comida son latas y botellas básicas) y era literalmente un trozo plano de pan con sólo ensalada, un tomate en rodajas, y 3 trozos de champiñón ahogado en salsa. Desgraciado - dejando una foto de cómo se veía una vez que se retiró el tomate. No recuerdo que la última vez que comí fuera me dejó tan decepcionado y enojado, que aconsejo encarecidamente no comer allí.

26/04/2025: We enjoy visiting LovingSalads . Their salads are incredible. They are made fresh and with love. I am fond of their bean and seaweed salads. They have a wide range of salads to choose from on a daily basis. We have seen them in Wilton Farmer's market. We usually visit them in person in the city. Their diversity of salads is wonderful. The staff are friendly and helpful. The shop is wheelchair accessible. There is wheelchair accessible parking Nearby

For dinner we ordered soup, braised Irish lamb shank, a dish that drove me crazy for its textures and flavors, and for dessert, pudding, which was really good. The waitress, a charming Valencian girl, advised and helped us at all times. Looking forward to returning soon!

02/05/2025: I like the Woodford but the food is very poor value. I ordered a burger and chips which was 18 euros. And yet the burger was a couple of hockey puck cheap frozen burgers the kind which is padded with soy and rusk. I'm sorry but for a "gastropub" charging so much I expect some effort gone into it. How much effort does it require to make a smash burger from minced beef? Not much. If it was cheaper I wouldn't mind so much but not for what it cost.

02/05/2025: Been there twice. Only had two trips to Cork, and Hi-B was a must-see according to my hosts. I was not disappointed. I've been to several Hibernian clubs here in the U.S., and so I felt "at home" here. If ever I'm in Cork again, I will be sure to indulge in a pint or two, and join along with the singing that seems to spring from nowhere. Fun place!

12/04/2025: First bar I visited in Ireland and couldn’t ask for a better place to visit. Great conversation great staff and great drinks all with lovely people to talk too. Highly recommend
