04/04/2024: would just like to say that the family and I went to Ristorante Rossini yesterday for Easter Sunday lunch and as always they never fail to always put on the best .... Kate with the BEST expresso martini EVER *and I would know 😊) and Torre with his usual meet and greet at the front door _ the staff were buzzing -atmosphere elelectric , everyone on their A game ....only one missing was the duchess AKA Trish ... seriously folks can't recommend Rossini 's enough!!!

03/04/2024: I liked the atmosphere as it was not busy during the weekday. I would recommend to take xare of the sode dishes, there are not integral part of the meal.
01/03/2024: First up we were served stale bread
Mains came and to say we were disappointed would be a understatement my wife ordered potatoes croquettes which just tasted of nothing also she ordered wild mushroom ravioli (frozen mush) and Arancini which again tasted old and dry.
Now onto my Beef enchiladas or should I say Enchilada which I just couldn't finish it as microwaved and again a common thing in this restaurant is tasted of nothing.
Such a disappointment as we read reviews and were really looking forward to this meal.
Only plus for this is service .

06/08/2023: I've been to El Vino a few times, usually a few months in between visits. Latest visit showed a massive dip in the quality of food/ ingredients. Perhaps inflation is causing issues which is understandable. However, the drop in quality is massive in their food.
Service was beyond reproach, the wine was amazing. But the food was underwhelming. It went from amazing, to fine. I'd a tapas selection and olives. And there's no comparison to the same food ordered a few months ago. Very disappointing as I used to say it was the best place for a date in douglas.
23/07/2023: Very disappointed. Bun on burger was burnt crisp and had to be sent back, better burger to be had in McDonald’s, absolutely disgusting. Was definitely a frozen burger. Told us we had to give table back before we even got a bill. Won’t be back
