29/03/2026: Having grown up in an Irish household where everything is très très bien cuiller, I was a little hesitant when I saw this steak option on the menu was medium rare, but it was absolutely delicious. The entire dining experience was wonderful , great atmosphere, lovely helpful staff. We also were not rushed out the door, which was greatly appreciated, we were able to relax and have dessert and an extra drink at our leisure. We will be back soon.
22/02/2026: Very disappointed overall.Took my son for a special occasion.Very loud on arrival from people at bar counter asked to move but staff member said the group were leaving ( which they did ) .We ordered 2 starters both small ,tasty enough. .However it was the 2 main courses that were so disappointing I ordered the hake ,brocolini and mash and my son ordered the featherblade of beef ,both portions were small ,the broccoli was 2 pieces of tenderstem. My sons beef was small he was starving after it. .With one non alcoholic wine meal came to 92 euro ..I dont mind paying for something if Its filling and good value but we both left hungry .My son went home for a bowl of cereal.Overall very disappointing experience.Wish I had seen previous persons review ( Sarah ) bfore I booked. We had similar experiences.

Ristorante Rossini

Cork
15/04/2026: I ordered the seafood pasta with a side of garlic bread and unfortunately it was quite disappointing. I had visited a few years ago and ordered the same dish, which was beautifully presented (served in a tinfoil swan) and absolutely delicious, so I was really looking forward to it again. This time it was a completely different experience. The pasta was covered in a bland tomato sauce and the seafood was overcooked. The garlic bread was also very poor, the bread itself tasted dry and the garlic butter wasn’t fully melted. It’s a shame as I used to rave about this place, but based on this visit, I wouldn’t be recommending it anymore.
12/04/2026: A top-notch culinary experience, refined dishes featuring excellent ingredients and meticulously presented. Thanks to Chef Achille, who amazed us with bold yet perfectly balanced pairings! Impeccable service, highly recommended!

Maryborough Hotel & Spa

Cork
12/04/2026: Had a brilliant experience at the spa. Got a back, neck and shoulder massage, a facial and a scalp massage. My masseuse Lucy was absolutely brilliant would highly recommend. The facilities were so nice and clean. Definitely will go again.
10/04/2026: This hotel in Cork, Ireland is such a beauty!! It used to be a mansion constructed for the Newenham family, wealthy Anglo-Irish landowners. Influential in politics and economic thought in 18th-century in Cork. The property began as a Georgian country house built around 1710–1715. It officially opened as a hotel in 1997. The estate was known as Maryborough House. It’s an elegant Georgian Architecture, surrounded by 18 acres of gardens. Back then, it was used for hosting local social gatherings and high-society events. It was named after Queen Mary I of England (Mary Tudor). Today, it’s one of Cork’s best examples of a restored Georgian Estate. I have to say, that for being 316 years old, the property smells like a JW Marriott Hotel, no musty or weird old smells anywhere. It’s smells like flowers and everything is new and super clean, zero dust. The carpet throughout the entire property looks like new. The staff?? AMAZING customer service. We have been here 3 days now and have been treated like royalty (literally). We decided to have tea last night in the reception area by the fireplace, and not only they brought the tea from the restaurant, but they moved furniture around so we could have a table for the tea right in front of the fireplace (without having to ask). We also needed something in the room past midnight, not even 2 mins later, delivered. The upscale/luxury property is known now for being a popular venue for weddings and conferences (one wedding happening today) and although it has been restored, it has maintained its identity as a heritage property, blending old and new. It has a very nice spa, called ESPA (high end brand). And an Award-winning restaurant (AA Rosette) on site called Bellini, known for upscale Irish cuisine, using local ingredients. We had lunch the day we arrived and dinner the following night, the food and service was OUTSTANDING!!! 3rd from last picture, used to be the owner’s suite. It looks like a ballroom now but it’s where they slept. When I walked in I felt so many good vibes, for some reason….And no, the mansion is not known for being haunted. Totally recommend this hotel in Ireland!! 🥰 #inloved #georgianarchitecture
