Jacques in Cork

Enjoyed a lovely meal here. The service, food and atmosphere all made for a most enjoyable experience. The nibbles starter had amongst other dishes a really tasty hake dip also pleased to say the chicken was free range. Will return and would recommend to friends, etc.

We had dinner for two at Jacques restaurant. It was absolutely excellent! We had asparagus and mushrooms as a starter, lamb and hake as a main, followed by chocolate and salted caramel tart and medjool as dessert. Every single course blew us away, really. The wines that were offered were excellent too. The servers was extremely professional friendly and personable. Terrific evening. Really recommend this restaurant!

Ruth took such great care of the nine of us! We came over from the US for my Mum's 100th birthday party earlier in the day and were exhausted from the trip. Food was delicious - Tomahawk steak, sirloin steak, scallops, cheese board and bacon something, etc etc. Everything was outstanding! We weren't too hungry so probably drank more bottles of Chateauneuf du Pape than we ate. Best meal of the short trip. The place was buzzing. The service was top notch for such a busy Saturday night. Thanks so much again.

Second time to Jacques, lovely atmosphere, got a load of plates to share between four of us, each as good as the next. Staff attentive and efficient. Will be back :)

One of the only places in Cork that actually does rare steak. My wife took me here for my birthday recently. Greatvwine and cocktails, as well as non alcoholic mocktails, and the food was amazing, good venison first time we went and the steak last time was amazing. I liked it, I loved it, I wanted some more of it.

The appetizers were lovely, the main dish was good and the dessert was a bit disappointing. But the wine was terrible.

A culinary delight. Wonderful staff...busy but super patient and warm. The food was excellent and not off the charts expensive. The only thing that left me with a negative was the mens toilet ...only 1 toilet for men& women, & no urinal. Am I wrong? 😳
