29/09/2026: I came here as a solo traveller, by chance, in the rain. Totally worth it, one of the best meals I've ever eaten. How do they make cabbage do that? Thank you for the wine recommend too 👌

26/09/2026: My wife and I enjoyed an amazing lunch sitting in one of tables looking out of the restaurant windows. We had the bread service, oysters, soup, duck mousse, and the short ribs. All dishes were exceptional. What was even more exceptional was our waiter John who made us feel incredibly welcomed and well taken care of. Highly recommend!

12/09/2026: Truly Italian! I just fancy something Italian and I found it here. I always pass by here in my walk to Bray seafront and can’t believe I have been passing by here to miss this. Now, I’m addicted. Cannoli is truly delicious and the coffee is super. The panini is freshly made and staff is brilliant and friendly. Carpe Diem, you’re now my favourite in Bray. Thank you!

09/09/2026: Small restaurant with limited seating, but a good selection of salads and sandwiches. It’s a little hard to spot the sign from the road, but look for the purple building! We had the mixed salad with tuna and the roasted ham panini—both were fresh and delicious.

26/08/2026: First time dining here tonight Aug 2026, I had the duck and it was incredible, best flavor I've had in a long long time, will return for sure. The staff were fabulous Heidi, Amanda and Gabby 👏👏👏 They were all very attentive asking about allergies and if we had time pressures. Incredible service.

12/06/2026: When we first entered the room, we were welcomed by a fish smell because the window was broken and the fumes from the kitchen were directly entering. We tried watching tv and couldn't because nearly all the channels were locked with a pin code that not even the manager knew. The water in the sink wouldn't drain. We tried to shower before bed but the hot water was shut off without prior notice. During the night, we were unable to sleep because all you could hear were the sounds of the pipes in the building that sounded exactly like a ship's horn going off every 10 minutes. We were left there wide awake to stare at the huge water damage stains in the ceiling. My partner suffers from epilepsy and sleep is more important for him than for the average person. At the price of 207€ for a night we at the very least expected to get a decent night's rest and that was not the case. We spoke to the manager and he told us he couldn't issue us a full refund. Only 20€. He said it wasn't within his power and that we'd have to go through Booking.com for a refund. Surprise surprise, it turns out he simply does not want to refund more than half. Very deceitful. This is place is more of a hostel.

10/06/2026: Recently had a two night stay here celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary, top marks all round, lovely hotel, exceptional staff from Louise on reception to Olya in the restaurant and Paul the owner, all so friendly and helpful, great location, will definitely return and would highly recommend. 31/08/2026: We got a few of the pizzas the 9 inch and took them to go and the garlic bread and it was excellent. The atmosphere in the place was very nice. We were just exhausted so we just ordered the food to take it back to the hotel room very good.

26/08/2026: I’m so excited to go back here! I think the price matches the quality of ingredients, staff are friendly and timely as-well as the food. The only negative thing about our 3rd visit was our eggs weren’t runny, that being said - it was delicious. Great coffee and fresh orange juice. I can’t wait to have eggs royale from here again- best I’ve ever had in all of Cork. Also, it would be great to have a cushion on the chair they’re quite hard, feel very office IKEA-like.

19/07/2026: The food great here the have a student saver box. The sausages are all different and delishpus and so is there potatoes. the people make it too. Makes a huge difference when people are passionate about your food.

16/07/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant while visiting Cork. My wife and children wanted to try it, and we weren't disappointed! The staff was very friendly, and the selection was impressive! The hot dogs were beautiful, large, and delicious!

27/09/2026: The huge, cheap burritos speak Spanish, have margaritas, and lots of other things.

15/09/2026: We had our 50 years in Business Celebration in Medley and it in September was fantastic. We had Customers from all kinds of business there, and everyone praised the Food, Staff and the Venue. We can't thank them enough. Thanks Chris and the Team Ciarán Hennessy D and D Stationers

31/08/2026: Perfect venue for a party to remember. Went there for a wedding and had a blast. Highly professional staff and great atmosphere.

12/05/2026: Really disappointed with the food. Ordered the special and was presented with lukewarm plate of gunge. I sent it back. Staff were apologetic and asked if I would like to order something else, at that stage I'd lost my appetite. Shame really as it sounded amazing.

13/09/2026: I’ve been here many times and the food is generally quite good. However, I’ve visited twice in the past month and unfortunately the service was poor on both occasions. It’s a shame, as this used to be a place I enjoyed coming back to.

10/09/2026: We dropped in late on Monday evening. Despite being a regular in Malahide I had never eaten here before but had heard a lot of good things about it. I was with my partner and another couple, Friends from the US whom I was excited to experience with. The food was very good and the decor fabulous but the biggest let down which we all commented on was the attitude of the staff. The restaurant was almost empty being a Monday night but it was almost as if the staff wanted us gone so they could go home. Altogether it was a very disappointing evening and one which will prevent me from going back. It isn't the atmosphere I expect, especially when spending that kind of money.
