Mr Fox in Dublin

Fantastic tasting menu experience here! Food was delicious and creative, the staff were friendly and attentive and very good value for the amount of food! I was visiting and happened to find it via google and I couldn’t be happier. I will be back again when I come through Dublin.

Ate here recently and it was bar far one of the best meals that I've had in years. Every bite of the multiple courses was a joy. The atmosphere/decor does let the place down a little - Some soft background music and slight dimmer lighting perhaps would go a long way. The food was so excellent, that I will look forward to returning.

Decor and atmosphere let this restaurant down. Food was very nice and good quality but nothing stood out as really wow. Staff were very friendly and attentive, verging on a bit too much.

We had an absolutely amazing meal last night at Mr Fox. Unique style and tasting foods some were nostalgic tastes and really brought us joy. We look forward to going again and try their new menus !

Pure class - each course was as good as the first!

My husband and I love Mr. Fox. It is truly a gem. The tasting menu this month was excellent, as were the clever and unique wine pairings. We always appreciate the warm and professional service.

Party of 4. Really great night. 8pm sitting and not rushed at all. Left at 11.45pm after one too many bottles of wine. Food was excellent and well presented. Warning though, don't go in starving as it is not the kind of place that you will walk out of feeling full.

Went here for an anniversary dinner and was delighted to get a last minute reservation the night before. Upon arrival the service was lovely and staff were nice and efficient throughout. (Weren’t the most smooth or seamless all the same, seemed a bit nervous/under pressure but perhaps just getting into the swing of things with the new year). The food was good without being amazing. Started off with a stodgy, bland brioche roll paired with beautiful whipped Parmesan butter. It was a strange pairing and would have worked much better with fresh sourdough. Thankfully the next few courses were much nicer so we were relieved. The beurre blanc sauce on the sole was incredible as was the hazelnut and banana desert. The atmosphere was my least favorite unfortunately. Though the waiting area with the bar was cozy, we were then led into a room with bright white lighting, bare wooden tables (no tablecloths, no candles). It’s fine dining type food in a cafeteria esque room which just didn’t make sense to me. All in all, a nice experience and one u don’t regret but my expectations were higher (at 91€ a head for food) than they should have been.

What an incredible experience my friends and I had this evening at Mr. Fox. Niall was so friendly and welcoming and had extensive knowledge about each dish and all wines on the menu it was very impressive. Boris was also very friendly and polite ensuring we had the perfect evening. Will definitely be back 10/10
