The food was splendidly delicious. Everything was beautifully presented. Absolutely everything! Congratulations to the head chef and his team for giving us such a wonderful evening. Thanks also to the staff for their excellent service. Without a doubt, one of the best restaurants in Dublin. 100% recommended.

We had such a lovely evening at Mr Fox celebrating a birthday. The service was exceptional from start to finish. The team made the evening extra special with personal touches. We chose the tasting menu and were delighted we did! Each course was excellent, with such interesting flavours, e.g basil and jalapeño with the tuna crudo. The standout dish was the duck main course. We picked a white burgundy with the meal (the wine list is reasonably priced for a restaurant of this calibre). Would highly recommend for a special occasion!

Lush food and great service - Heidi was an absolute gem!

I had a really fantastic birthday dinner here with my step mum. We were both blown away by the food. The venison main course was probably the most tender steak I’ve ever had in my life. Everything was so full of flavour. We had the set dining menu, which I thought was fantastic value. My step mum also commented that the wine list was fantastic. The wait staff were warm, friendly, knowledgeable and did a great job. The room itself is very comfortable, I loved that they retained the old Irish stove, a reminder of the building’s history. If I had known, we would have arrived in advance of the reservation and enjoyed a drink at the bar as we didn’t realise that was a separate space and it looked very comfortable. I would also highly recommend the cocktails. It’s definitely a restaurant with absolutely excellent food and service, but not at all uncomfortably formal or stuffy.

Nice setting, quirky (pleasant) service but inconsistent food. It certainly wasn't bad but neither was it exceptional. At this price point the food should be both well conceived and exceptionally well executed.

I was there with my girlfriend last Friday and I had an exquisite experience. The food was 10/10 also the service was very good. Boris really made my experience at Mr fox something above standards. By the way, the blue fin tuna was one of the best I ever tried Thank you so much for everything
