Silver Springs Lounge Bar in Cork

A bit dated, but we were only there to sleep. The staff were always incredibly friendly, but the food in the restaurant was very mysterious, and the staff seemed overwhelmed and helpless for many people. Breakfast had everything you could need. Would gladly stay again.

I cannot speak more highly of Vijay. He was so obliging with caring for our athletes staying in the the hotel. Supplied us with ice with no issue. We arrived back late & we were never felt unwelcome he was a very good host. He was managing the bar on his own & we were never made to feel nuisance.

We had a fantastic stay, our food in the bar was amazing and the young bar man was extremely helpful, polite and friendly

Located about 3 kilometers from the center. It's a bit dated, the rooms are okay, one elevator was broken, breakfast was alright. Unfortunately, the coffee was only from a machine and not very good. The sink drained very poorly, but this wasn't fixed.

We had my granddaughters communion lunch . From management to waiting staff they couldn't do enough for us. The food was lovely ,we enjoyed our day .thank you again.

Enjoyed our one night here last week. Hotel was easyto check into and the room was huge. Easy taxi into the centre of Cork and back. We were overcharged at the bar in error and the staff assured us that the refund would be processed the following day and as promised we have had the opvercharge returned to my card. For the amount charged its definiety 10 of 10. The hotel clearly could do with some money being spent but thats true of many hotels of a similar age. Staff and services all excellent. We only had drinks in the bar so no idea what the food is like.

The staff were exceptional. We felt very welcome and they were so friendly. Special mentioned to Steven in the bar, Grace at reception, Brian in the restaurant and Ronan in the breakfast room. Wonderful service and a fantastic stay.

Stayed recently for a wedding and have to say it was great from start to finish, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be returning!

Great location and friendly staff, Brian the barman was so helpful as we were heading to a concert in the city and couldn't do enough for us. Thanks Brian.

Am hour walk from the city center, however that isn't the real issue. The room was absolutely boiling hot for the two nights we stayed. So warm that we couldn't actually sleep. We opened the windows but the barely open. There was a fan in the room that sounded like a washing machine when turned on and even at that, it didn't make a single difference. Never again.
