The best restaurants in Cork city council

15/10/2024: This dining experience was nothing short of incredible! I am vegan, and my family members are vegetarian - the vegan meal was delicious, and my family members loved theirs too. The wine pairings were perfect, and we appreciating hearing about the wine and food from the knowledgeable staff. This was a highlight of my holiday in Ireland and I hope I can come back someday to enjoy Paradiso again!

08/10/2024: Our first time in Elbow Lane and I must say, what an amazing experience, the beauty and coziness of the place creates a perfect atmosphere for any special occasion. When I first did my booking they were very accommodating about my needs and purpose of my visit. I went to celebrate my partner’s birthday and as we were greeted for the lovely and charismatic May we felt right at home! She added that extra element you need to complement the food, she was exceptional on her service skills, she explained the menu, even went out of her way to let us taste the different wine selection they had before we chose a bottle. I must say we wouldn’t have had the same experience if she hadn’t been there!! The food was something you definitely have to experience, no other restaurant in Cork can do what Elbow Lane does, hence the awards showing on the entrance will give you that reassurance! We will definitely go back

26/09/2024: Very nice place, with very curious and original decoration. Although the place inside is very good, if the day is sunny, I recommend sitting in front of the river to enjoy a good coffee. We paid 2 coffees with milk, a croissant and a pear pie 16 euros.

18/10/2024: Came randomly, and don’t need to reservation if you are alone. Staffs are super nice and explain everything very professionally. I do recommend this place for people want to try Irish food and beers.

17/10/2024: The food is good staff are nice there except one staff made a mistake with payment with one of my friends because I phoned him he said he paid for his meal that night Saturday 5th of October but we will be back

24/09/2024: this place is just amazing! friendly staff, very tasty food and cozy atmosphere 😍 I've been here twice and honestly, the best restaurant in the Cork! thanks to the waiters who checked if everything was ok, helped with the choice and were always very friendly 🥰 also thanks to the chef, for the insanely delicious dishes, I heartily recommend!

04/10/2024: Excellent meal in a lovely friendly atmosphere, my son booked on line a few days before we visited on a Thursday evening at 7.00 we were lucky to get a table. We will be back soon for a visit.

19/09/2024: This place was almost perfect. To start with, they have a great wine selection, with many different options for you to choose from. My husband and I both got the 10oz Sirloins, my steak was cooked a perfect med rare. However, my husband ordered his medium and it came out well done. They were super busy that night, so he powered through it and finished his meal. We were starving and didn't want to wait for another steak to come out. Other than that, the sides were all perfectly seasoned and the desserts were to die for. I definitely suggest getting the chocolate St. Emilion.
