The best restaurants in Cork city council

07/05/2025: Just visited this place for the first time after living in the area for a while already. Absolutely loved the place. Just dropped here for a quick lunch on my son's 18th birthday. Service was really lovely, people went far & beyond to make us feel welcome, food was spectacular and I left the place even happier than I came in. Definitely will come again.

03/05/2025: Tuvimos una comida fabulosa, pero lo que lo empañó fue Beverly. Muy buena comida. El servicio era bueno. Tuvimos 3 platos de comida con bebidas que estábamos acabando desierto cuando Beverly el anfitrión vino y dijo que teníamos 10 minutos para levantarse de la mesa la mesa está reservada. No nos dimos cuenta ya que teníamos nuestros cafés pedidos sabiendo que estaríamos terminados en aproximadamente 10 mente de todos modos. Ella regresó en menos de los 5 minutos que necesitamos para desalojar la mesa dijimos que terminaremos nuestros cafés y nos iremos luego dijo que estábamos 2 horas allí y hay un límite de 2 horas en la mesa. Dijimos que teníamos una comida de 3 platos con bebidas y nunca oímos que había un límite de 2 horas y no había señales. Ella estaba dando a otros empleados acerca de nuestra mesa y que no nos íbamos de la mesa. Íbamos a irnos en breve. Sentimos que era muy grosera y poco después de la conversación dejó caer nuestro cheque a la mesa. Había mesas a nuestro alrededor libres y no vimos qué prisa había. Fue una pena dejar esta opinión, ya que la comida y el servicio era bueno. Nuestra factura era de más de 150 €, sentimos que no merecíamos esto.

30/04/2025: We had an incredible experience last night from the moment we arrived. The service was friendly and impeccable. The staff's attention made all the difference, including the perfect cooking of my steak. All the courses were extremely tasty. It was a very pleasant first experience and I will certainly come back again.

22/05/2025: One of the best restaurants in Cork! It's extremely affordable for the quality of the food. Don't hesitate to try the mussels; the portion is very large and the quality is excellent. The outdoor tables are heated, which is appreciated.

21/05/2025: The good — Steak was amazing! Just plain, didn’t need the sides. The steam veggies were so good! The bad — Server started strong and was on top of everything, then when it can time for the tab, waited over 30 minutes. Food is subjective. I wasn’t a fan of the greasy fries, chewy fries. Maybe a bad batch that sat out too long? I would recommend this restaurant.

16/04/2025: La primera vez en este restaurante hoy y me pareció que el personal eficiente, servicial y muy amable. El servicio era excelente y la comida excelente. Gran café. Gran ambiente y muy limpio. No dudaría en recomendar este lugar. Ve y disfruta.

10/05/2025: Once again found myself back in my favourite bar in Cork City. Staff are second to none and Aoife makes the meanest porn star martini. Love this place, staff make the atmosphere and never fail to deliver. Brings me back time after time.

19/04/2025: I had great time on my whiskey tasting, my host Finlay was really knowledgeable in history and arts and crafts of making proper Irish whisky. I would definitely recommend anyone that wants to know history of Irish whisky and enjoys a good glass of one to visit and book whisky tasting in Shelbourne!!

16/04/2025: Anoche reservé este lugar para desayunar esta mañana. Escuché que fue genial. Cuando entramos, el lugar estaba lleno de humo de la sartén, y el chef parecía estar solo sin personal de espera evidente presente. Le dije al chef que había reservado una mesa, pero parecía no saber o no estar interesado y dejó la comida frita en la sartén en la cocina para despejar nuestra mesa. Lamentablemente el lugar estaba tan ahumado, y no había ventanas ni puertas abiertas para aliviar el humo. Fue completamente incómodo. La gente sentada parecía cómoda, sin embargo, pero el lugar era tan espeso con humo de fritura gris que informamos al chef que cancelábamos, le dimos las gracias y nos fuimos.
