The Hideout Cafe in Cork

I'm always impressed by how the hostess manages to serve our food to our table when she's also taking other peoples' orders, preparing their food, and taking payments, and having a chat, all at once. It can be a pain sitting down for a quiet coffee when all of a sudden loads of children arrive from the schools opposite.. but I've not experienced any of them misbehaving at all.. and it's nice to know that they have somewhere like that to go to wait for mum to collect them.. as long as I get my coffee and a seat too :-D

Absolutely lovely place, they have a beautiful view of the city and the woman who serves is very friendly. I ate a delicious scone, enjoyed the view and sat down to work on my computer. Also totally reasonable prices.

The owner Marion is just great… always in a good mood and nice and quick and very hard working. The coffee and homemade offerings are super delicious.

This Café is lovely Marion, who runs it is the most loveliest person. She made us smile every day we went for a nice coffee. The food is delicious an home made. It is nice to sit on the sofa in the cafe! We absolutely recommend this Cafe! Thank you Marion for the good time

Amazing cafe with delicious food and coffee. One of the best smoothies I’ve had, as well! The manager was so helpful and lovely to chat with. Amazing view, as well!

Only discovered The Hideout existed yesterday. Really glad I found it. Lovely spot and dog friendly.
