Was hungry after a trip to the nearby English Market and stopped this wonderful little place after seeing the reviews. Enjoyed sitting outside and people watching while enjoying a Guiness and a toasted ham and cheese sandwich.

Finally got to get a sandwich here. Finally got a little corner table inside. On previous visits I've been relegated to standing outside or standing in the way of others, but you can see why it's popular. Everyone who worked here had a good vibe about them, the taplist is vast and caters for all, and the food was coming out like a well oiled machine - efficient, hearty, consistent. I'd come back and stand, happily. But I'm glad I got to get in early and see it step into gear as Sunday got off the ground. Will remain one of my favourites in Cork.

23/10/2026: This was my second visit, and once again, I can say it’s an excellent restaurant. On my first visit, I had the spicy monkfish—it was perfectly cooked, well-presented, and tasted very fresh with no off flavors. The service was impeccable: prompt and friendly. Despite how busy it was, I easily got a seat and was served right away. I also tried their beer flight, which features three different selections from the nearby brewery. ​On my second visit, I had the hake with aubergine, peppers, and roasted potatoes, paired with a pint of Angel Stout. I decided to indulge in dessert and went with the honeycomb chocolate brownie with salted caramel and vanilla ice cream. Since the restaurant was full, I was seated at the bar counter, but it was still a great experience with wonderfully friendly staff!
20/10/2026: Nice restaurant offering a variety of dishes, including vegetarian options, everything is very good, good value for money!

09/09/2026: We had an amazing time. The staff were very courteous and helpful. The bar was really clean and very comfortable.
25/08/2026: Lots of screens for the football, sat at the bar, service was friendly, pints were brilliant, nice and spacious place with a good view of all the TVs. Left to my own devices watching the early kick-off. Not as cosy as your traditional pubs, quite well polished, still got that sort of sports bar / pub / walkabout vibe to it, food looked good too. Could easily whittle away an afternoon here.
