A lovely and well-kept place, right in the heart of Cork on Oliver Plunkett Street. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food is truly authentic Irish cuisine, with outstanding quality. I highly recommend the onion soup, topped with a traditional cheese from County Cork – pure comfort food! The homemade desserts are excellent, and there’s a great selection of craft beers. As expected in Ireland, tap water is served for free. What can I say? A great experience – highly recommended!

The French onion soup & beer tasting were just exactly what I needed while tucked in this bar on a rainy day! Highly recommend!

Busy restaurant with a good atmosphere. My boyfriend and I ordered the bacon collar and the fishpie - both were delicious! We would recommend a visit but suggest booking as it looked like they were having to turn people away on the door.
