19/03/2024: Had a simply delightful meal at Castle Cafe. Great service, food, and scenery/atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
28/02/2024: Went for a work lunch and it was incredible. Not a single person had a bad thing to say about any part of the meal.
Everything was delicious, great portion sizes, staff were friendly and the place was so busy.
Its been a while since I'd been there ( more of a 'treat' place) but the quality was consistent and wonderful.
Highly recommend.

15/01/2024: We loved this little natural wine haven in Cork! It was everything we look for in a bar. Cosy, cute, grown up and friendly. I just wish we had more time to stay and we missed to go back the day after too 😢
Very tasty tapas style plates (we wish we could have eaten more) all to enjoy with a great selection of very well priced wines! First on the list of places to go if we get to come back!
07/01/2024: Great wines, a rotating selection but if you're here to try the 3 Austrian offerings (grüner veltliner, orange Mulatschak, and Zweigelt red), I would recommend it. They also have lovely snacks - a perfect girl dinner. Friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere, highly recommended!

17/03/2024: Wow - what a yummie experience today for 5 of us who stumbled upon this quirky restaurant. Staff where so friendly, food came promptly and I would highly recommend the King 82 😋. I'll be back and will definitely recommend to friends.
14/03/2024: Nice venue and nice food. I would given a full 5 stars but yolk on my eggs florentine was overcooked and not runny like it should be.
Definetely come back to try more dishes.

06/03/2024: This is my Alma Mater and in many ways this makes me a little biased but the campus is one of the most pretty I have seen anywhere. Built on a hilly site, its undulating treed areas and gardens, not to mention the beautiful river walk along the south channel of the River Lee, make the University grounds exceptionally pretty. One grump I have is that the public are no longer welcomed into society events, a policy that I saw observed with pride, to the point where meetings were advertised publicly. The college is the poorer for it.

01/04/2024: Group of 8 people for dinner. The food was good, but what really caught our attention was the great professionalism of the waiter who served us, a very attentive and friendly Spanish boy. Without a doubt we were very satisfied. The atmosphere was quite noisy (we were on the top floor and it was full).

13/03/2024: Disgusted that they are charging customers an additional 50 cent for drinks due to the new recycling scheme. As if a customer is going to take the empty bottle home with them so in essence they are profiting twice from it. Very greedy and wrong. Lack of respect for your customers. Commented on the small portions for the price was met with rudeness.

11/03/2024: 4.3 stars. Checked out the Marina Market after a local recommended it to us. Upon arriving here, my wife and I decided to give the Stew Store a try. I ordered the Irish Beef Stew while my wife had the Vegan Chola Masala. Solid portions and freshly made. Reasonable prices ($13.95 each). Took a few minutes but food was of good quality.
04/02/2024: First time I ate here, I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala and it blew my mind. I was so used to what you'd get at a typical Indian restaurant with the pink sauce overloaded with Tomato paste, but what I got was a real and authentic dish made fresh, with passion and by someone who loves good food.
I've come back again and again, trying everything else they have to offer and it never fails to surprise and amaze.
Owned and run by an absolutely lovely couple, with a clear passion and enthusiasm for good and real dishes from around the world, they'll open your mind and pallet to what we've been missing out on. Absolute customer for life.

04/03/2024: Visitor "attractions" are often such a bore they do anything but attract interest. Nano Nagle Place deserves a category of its own, as a place to visit. I can not do it adequate justice in a few paragraphs. History and social context are explained in print, video, artefacts, and are all backed up by a seriously well stocked gift shop. As if that is not enough, check out the cafe in the garden!

30/03/2024: First time in Paladar last night. Couldn’t fault it. Great atmosphere, food was excellent, and brilliant service! The staff couldn’t have been nicer and you were never left wanting for anything. Can’t wait to return!

However great this bar-restaurant could be, they are above all thieves as I have been charged 120euros for not showing up and have properly cancelled prior! The protection of businesses is something I respect and value BUT the way the owner decides to operate his policy is abusive!

02/04/2024: A large group of us went there recently and they catered for us very well. Will glady go back again. Pizzas are great but varying up the menu is probably needed.
18/03/2024: Great pub, good choice of beers, wines and spirits. Staff are sound. The interior is cosy and there is a large smoking/out door seating area which has covered/uncovered seating on a sunny day and has a extending canopy for the colder/wet days. Lovely atmosphere and the pizzas a good. Dog friendly too.
