11/09/2025: Went along for the trad session this evening supposedly from 6pm, hoping to play, but unfortunately it had been cancelled so no tunes fix for me. Not quite sure why- one or two other bemused musicians floating around. Nice enough pub otherwise though.

03/01/2026: It says open on Google Maps but it’s actually closed. I would expect them to change their opening hours during holiday times. PS.: After seeing your reply, I would like to add that I have changed my rating to 3 stars. The reason I only gave you 3 stars is that everyone's time is valuable, and if you had indicated your working hours on Google Maps, I could have made other plans for that day.

11/10/2025: A beautiful place to visit in Cork! The University College Cork (UCC) has a stunning campus with a wonderful atmosphere and perfectly maintained gardens. 16/10/2025: Highly overrated. I found this place in Google maps as we were visiting Cork and desperately looking for a quick lunch. We were the only people who ordered food at that moment, however, it took a while to get it. It looked like there was only one stressed-out lady at the counter and the kitchen. Tea and coffee came quite fast, but we waited for pancakes and omelette around 20 min. Pancakes were hard and cold inside and omelette with "salad" meaning rocket with two blobs of ketchup. And THE WORST: I found LARGE pieces of EGGSHELL inside.

21/02/2026: Great spot for a kebab after a night out. Even when dining in, the food is served takeaway-style without plates, but that didn’t take away much from the experience. The kebab was tasty and we left satisfied.

04/09/2025: So many savory options! Best Italian I have had since going vegan. Got there, given an hr wait, went nexdoor til she called us over earlier than expected, and she waited a little extra while we finished our pints. Kind service staff. Loved the fresh ingredients. My pesto ravioli with sweet potatoes was fantastic. The linguine were perfectly al dente and we could see them being made. Saved room for dessert, the strawberry hill was delicious. All so perfectly balanced, really. Try the appetizers! We got the socca farinata. My Omni bf and I (vegan) thought this was some of the best food we've had. Cozy, romantic, welcoming, & affordable, too.

06/03/2026: Ordered a Lamb Vindaloo, which is always arisk as they’re usually nowhere near hot enough in Irish Indian restaurants. This was delicious! Hot , spicy but full of flavour.

05/03/2026: We've eaten here a few times, the food has been consistently delicious and the prices are reasonable. We really appreciate all the vegetarian / vegan options and how lovely the owners are.

31/01/2026: Ordered the hoisin duck as a lazy weekend takeout night, I was not expecting to receive one of the nicest meals I’ve had in months. So delicious with very generous portions.

27/12/2025: We went to Kato for lunch, very decent place, fast service, good food. Noodles were extremly flavourful thanks to good use of spices which made food very delicious. My friend chose different dish but we both had duck and we both agreed that duck was cheewy and bit dry. Other than that everything was great.

11/11/2025: We enjoyed delicious cocktails made with peaty Connemara whisky, professionally prepared, and savored refined small plates of lamb and beef, as well as a delectable dessert. The price reflects the quality; I highly recommend it.

06/02/2026: 1hr wait for a take away seems excessive.. People from the nearby bars come in and order and go back to the bar for their pint.. just seems unfair that this place is acting like a kitchen for the bars around.. can’t argue with it but is annoying

05/02/2026: Our second time here and definitely not the last. This is one of only few restaurant actually worth visiting. Food is delicious, cooked to perfection, full of flavours, staff is very attentive, professional, taking care of details and fhe ambience itself is beautiful and for any occassion.

20/01/2026: This was an unexpected find for us while in Cork - we were looking for a nice restaurant and this one hit our search filters and so glad it did. It is a little off the main street situated down behind Isaac’s but you won’t regret finding it. The setting is great with views of a waterfall outside the dining room. The food was of course the highlight and reason to visit. Truly enjoyed the generically named “Beef” dish which was like pot roast slow cooked and fall apart on your fork served with potatoes and carrots We also got the English market chicken supreme which was lovely and we shared a Goat cheese, beet root and apple appetizer which was fresh and tasty can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed this meal. We will definitely be back
