The Woodford
Cork
07/05/2025: A friendly and welcoming place, with live music. For dinner we ordered soup, braised Irish lamb shank, a dish that drove me crazy for its textures and flavors, and for dessert, pudding, which was really good. The waitress, a charming Valencian girl, advised and helped us at all times. Looking forward to returning soon!
02/05/2025: I like the Woodford but the food is very poor value. I ordered a burger and chips which was 18 euros. And yet the burger was a couple of hockey puck cheap frozen burgers the kind which is padded with soy and rusk. I'm sorry but for a "gastropub" charging so much I expect some effort gone into it. How much effort does it require to make a smash burger from minced beef? Not much. If it was cheaper I wouldn't mind so much but not for what it cost.

Hi-B Bar
Cork
02/05/2025: Been there twice. Only had two trips to Cork, and Hi-B was a must-see according to my hosts. I was not disappointed. I've been to several Hibernian clubs here in the U.S., and so I felt "at home" here. If ever I'm in Cork again, I will be sure to indulge in a pint or two, and join along with the singing that seems to spring from nowhere. Fun place!
12/04/2025: First bar I visited in Ireland and couldn’t ask for a better place to visit. Great conversation great staff and great drinks all with lovely people to talk too. Highly recommend

Son of a Bun
Cork
10/05/2025: These burgers will knock your socks off!
They are huge and full of flavor. The place was packed but there are plenty of servers to keep it all moving along. The fries are huge portions which are great for sharing.
08/05/2025: Good service, good food, can’t really go wrong going here

Fionnbarra's
Cork
10/05/2025: Unfortunately a very doughy pizza in the centre. Really poor, ingredients incredible, but when undercooked and so stodgy it's poor. Take a few minutes to bake better for a 15 euro pizza
01/05/2025: great bar, great music, great beer garden, great staff

Da Mirco
Cork
29/04/2025: Food was very disappointing. Starter average. Mains where not very nice, too much oil and sea food was not at its freshest. Wine was not fizzy . Had a bad toilet experience and hour after . Really not impressed. Came here a 2 years ago and it was great . I feel this place needs a rethink.
18/04/2025: Great small Italian spot, cozy, with fantastic food and service all around.

Good Day Deli
Cork
27/04/2025: Perfect place for brunch: delicious food, great coffee, and in such a beautiful location - no matter the time of the year.
22/04/2025: I went here for brunch with my friends. Absolutely everyone raves about the place. And yes the food was very delicious but I think my favourite thing was the setting. We sat in the garden and it was so peaceful and calming. The staff went above and beyond. Zero doubts that I will be back. xx

Dan Lowry
Cork
20/04/2025: Great pints and lovely cosy seating!
13/04/2025: I used to drink here many years ago, back then it was just as busy as it is today ,with one difference. Back then the place was spotless. polished bar top surgically clean toilets and carpet throughout you could eat off. Today the carpets are filthy ,the toilets disgusting smelling of stale pee.. the whole place is shabby and run down.. What a shame...

Okura Japanese Cuisine
Cork
26/05/2025: The best sushi you can get in Ireland! Other sushi places are not even close!
12/05/2025: We had a fantastic dining experience at Okura! The food was delicious, served in generous portions, and beautifully presented. The entire staff, including the owner, were incredibly warm, kind, and welcoming, which made us feel right at home.
The atmosphere was inviting and pleasant, and the highlight was definitely the robot server—it added a fun and unique touch to the evening.
Overall, it was an excellent experience, and we’d absolutely love to visit again. Highly recommended—10/10!

Beantown Cafe
Cork
13/04/2025: Food is good ,their powerballs are unreal.Only thing every-time I go even though I order the same thing I get charged different each time. I highlighted it once and it just went back to different cost again. The price difference could be the cost of a coffee or a treat.Very annoying.I clicked low on service simply because going in a group someone’s order is normally wrong.
08/04/2025: Good coffee, cinnamon available.
Free water available.
Toilets clean.
Helpful staff.
Overall a good vibe.

23/05/2025: Big love for Ryan, the gentle giant. He should be paid more. In all seriousness though, one of my favourite pubs in Cork.

12/05/2025: Great pub.. NO TV and easy to talk to others in our group.
05/05/2025: I walked in slightly nervously, because it was so dark initially, but once my eyes adjusted I loved it. A real traditional pub, full of character and nooks.

Nano Nagle Place
Cork
21/05/2025: Nano Nagle Place is a very special place, a bubble of peacefulness in the city of Cork. Ancient buildings frome a Ursulines's sisters convent have been converted, with intelligence and delicacy, in a multicutural centre. You can find there the school of architecture, the Nano Nagle museum, a very intimate garden, a café : you can spend the whole day there.
17/05/2025: This is a lovely place to look at the life of nano nagle and visit her grave.Theres a museum and plenty of information on posters as u move through the garden.Shop cafe and rest room on site .Busy with family's sole visitors. Its a lovely place to visit.Staff were pleasant and helpful.
