The best restaurants in Cork

08/07/2024: Irish plus a few more food options for breakfast and lunch. The service was fast and the staff very friendly.

01/07/2024: Arrived about 10.15 on a Sunday morning. The place was already almost full with a great bustling atmosphere. However, the friendly staff member soon found us a table and in no time, we were seated and perusing the extensive breakfast menu. I thought that as the place was so busy, we might have a long wait for our food. However this was not the case - our huge breakfasts arrived quickly and looked and tasted amazing. I opted for the Sonny Corleone and my daughter went for the Tommy DeVito. The bill came to less than 30 euros, which is not back for 2 large breakfasts with toast, soda bread, jam/marmalade plus tea/coffee. It certainly set us up for the rest of the day! TIP - if you don't want to wait for a table, go early. When we left at around 11.15, the queue stretched about 20 yards down the street. A testament to how popular this place is.

19/03/2024: Cute little spot with delicious food! I had an omelette and my husband had the Janes Brekkie and they were fantastic! Friendly, fast service too and a good value for your money. We will eat here every day if we can during our stay! 🤩

11/07/2024: What a lovely place! Staff was so friendly and attentive, and the Orchid restaurant served a five course meal that was just out of this world. Also ate at their bistro restaurant, the food was awesome there also. Hope to get back to Cork, will definitely stay at the Hayfield Manor House on our next trip!

08/07/2024: This was my 3rd visit to Hayfield Manor, the location is fabulous - we did have a couple of faux pas during our stay but after speaking with John the Operations Manager, he offered expedient resolution!

20/07/2024: Everything was perfect, food, service and the atmosphere was incredible as a street musician was playing and singing spanish songs just outside the restaurant. Highly recommend, Probably the best place to eat in Cork!

07/07/2024: So tasty and a lovely dining experience. Well worth the cost. They prepared a meal that my husband and I consider the best meal we've ever eaten, and it was as simple as broccoli and potatoes! Don't know how they did it, it tasted heavenly. The chefs do magic.

23/06/2024: Had the 6 course tasting menu....beautiful food served with style...bit pricey at 68 euro but as a one off it was a wonderful experience...

06/07/2024: Isaac’s restaurant is always top of my list to visit when in Cork. There is lots of choice on the menu and the food is always delicious. The service is friendly and efficient. Yet again a great experience this visit and I’ll definitely be back.

21/06/2024: Frauline at the front reception was rude. Won’t go back. Upon entering there was an abrupt, “we’re closed and open at 5:00”.

30/03/2024: Nice pub in city centre. At the end of the main street with other bars and restaurants, but worth the extra short walk. A variety of beers are available as well as the usual Guinness.

21/03/2024: Was there st Patrick day and the music was fantastic and the staff were efficient, friendly and a pleasure to deal with.

02/04/2024: A large group of us went there recently and they catered for us very well. Will glady go back again. Pizzas are great but varying up the menu is probably needed.

18/03/2024: Great pub, good choice of beers, wines and spirits. Staff are sound. The interior is cosy and there is a large smoking/out door seating area which has covered/uncovered seating on a sunny day and has a extending canopy for the colder/wet days. Lovely atmosphere and the pizzas a good. Dog friendly too.

18/07/2024: Absolutely recommended. My sister brought me here for my birthday Our waitress was very professional. There was no rush with anything. We had three different dishes, and as you can imagine, I tasted all three. Divine. I'm a stout drinker but drank lager that evening and it was lovely. It's probably from some micro brewery. I will definitely return. Thanks to all the staff 💯

17/07/2024: Amazing food! Been looking for a meal like this for a while in Ireland. The highlight was the Bacon Collar. 3 staff members mentioned that this is the highlight and it can’t be missed! Also had the soup and it was quite good as well!

04/06/2024: A great friendly little Irish pub in cork, we caught the train from cove, ( on a cruise)... the landlady is a star 🌟
